Realistically are recomps better than just emulating?

There's a lot more frame rate unlocks to recomps than to emulated games.

They're quickly going to overshadow even ROMhacks at the rate things are going now.

>>746702416It's seems to be great for some zelda games because you can rewrite controls or use more buttons on controller.On ayn thor you can get recomps that handle 2 screens so second screen shows inventory or map. But on average emulators is still nicer to have around as not every game will get recomp anytime soon.

It's hard to resist the silky smooth framerate, controls and resolution.I recently played SoH, Perfect Dark, Goemon, Banjo Kazooie and Dusklight. I'm really eager to play the Goldeneye recomp, which is just around the corner.
