Is the ex machina armored core mech game good? Could count as an hidden gem. People complained about the walking out of the mech segment and guns having weak sounds but that's it. Can't be that bad?

As for the switch 2 I don't think it's old enough yet to have an impressive library. I love fast rmx on switch 1 and 2 came out, maybe it's good too. It is also cheap like the first ( that I recommend ).

Talos Principle does struggle on the first Switch, even with Performance mode enabled, although it's far from unplayable too. It definitely runs better on the Switch 2 albeit with the occasional micro-freezes when the port tries to load an area.
And like the other anon said, you're technically inside a virtual world and some background elements sometimes "glitch out" which is normal in-game behavior

Smash is great, I kind of hope they don't make a sequel or paid switch 2 upgrade because that is the most expensive second hand 8 year old game I ever bought. Luigi's Mansion 3 is good but it feels much more childish in tone compared to the first

Xenoblade 2 has a horrendously bad start and it's a genuine flaw with the game. The already mediocre story is at its worst right at the start, and the combat takes waaaaay to long to get interesting because it requires you to develop a bunch of blades first. However, I think the combat is actually the peak of the series once you get deep enough into the game, and overall the game gets much better the more you play it.

My switch 2 was mainly used to play prime 4 at launch and i take it to locals for smash, other than that its a portable fortnite machine that i use to play bot lobbies when i want to farm battle pass levels in bed.

Hopefully the OoT port allows for 2k/4k 30 fps at least, i prever that over 1080p 60, its a crime that starfox did that instead, shit looks blurry and jagged.

I just finished the main game of Splatoon Raiders. I'll definitely dive more into the post game over time. It'll be an eternal "stand by game".

Before that I did all I care to do in Star Fox (2026). Did all the normal challenges and normal medals and unlocked and finished Expert mode all levels.

I got around to playing Bananza recently, people were talking it up big, but it's probably an 8/10 at most. Some good moments here and there that make controls fun, but man it does not let up on the tedious dumbass filler content. Far from the best game on Switch 2 imo, but if it really is the best game, then damn, does the system have a problem.

After that, i dunno what to play. Considering giving Yooka another shot with Replaylee, but the OG release just sucked bad. I heard much better things now on the rerelease.

Really good, easily my favorite Kirby game and the combat is a standout, but you should do the side missions for every level to really get it. Otherwise you might think it's too short, boring, easy and a "5 hour game" like others did.

13 sentinels was $20 so I gave it a shot. Extremely refreshing "adventure game"-like vn design coupled with an enjoyable turn-based/rts combat system and semi-sandboxed progression (certain routes seem to be gated behind battle/story progress, but besides that you get to muck around with the characters in whichever order you want). I'm sure I could jam more buzzwords in there. It's definitely worth it, so far, (it being $20) and the presentation in all aspects is great.

I enjoyed Forgotten Land a lot, it feels like an early 2000 game, has lots of charm, it's among the best Kirby games and has a pretty kino final boss fight.
