I don't know how strong witchcraft is because I didn't go it, but I will say with vamp powers you don't give a fuck about skull level. I am on duelist with the indicator on because I need my KCD crutch
After giving the game a solid 15 hours I do think it would be better without the deadline. The time systen itself is cool and even interesting, but the deadline adds nothing. You arent making interesting decisions based on the time you have available, you're just doing less content and avoiding spending skill points.

I don't get how battles against 6+ opponents work without indicators. At some point during them I always end up in a position where I cant see where attacks are coming from other than the indicators. Do you just take the hit then if you have them off? Or just pray guy #4 doesn't go off camera or walk in front of guy #5 while he's attacking and reset if he does?

It's funny that the time mechanic is so scary for people when after playing for some hours it becomes blatant that iit's more like a flavor and that you can easily do pretty much almost everything the game has to offer. You just pick the order you do things and have to plan ahead for day/night.They 100% toned it down before release because the prologue is REALLY tight with it but after that the most shit you spent time on are sidequests, learning and stuff.

I think the game would've been cooler if it leaned far more heavily into the vampire theme. Being a vamp only 50% of the time feels like a copout. I wanted the angst of wanting to save my family while realizing that I'll never be a part of it anymore due to being a creature of the night. I wanted silver to be extremely deadly to me and have to avoid the sun like the plague. Dawnwalker feels like it wants to have its cake and eat it too.

When the combat clicks its fantastic, but god damn sometimes you are fighting the entire game.Found some blue trousers in a tower along the east border, climbing out two skellys spawned that did nothing but stand in place and throw unparriable daggers at me. Killed me a couple of times on Duelist, then when I finally get one down the game decided combat was over and Cohen fucking sheathes his sword as the other skelly throws a dagger and kills me.

>>746987556Don't listen to this anon. Don't treat it as a multi target ability, but combined with the ultimate that refreshes your abilities on kill, and mastered Artery Strike, the Charge is great. Charge refunds it's cost on kill, so it's a quick way to finish off low hp target, and if they survive, the bleed makes the decapitation from Artery Strike certain. Charge is also low cooldown in case you're fighting a boss who can't be decapitated and doesn't have extra mobs to reset skills. Bleed is an okayish dps, but not great. Stun is also nice, but the dirty trick would be better for that. It's good to shut down annoying enemies like wolves.

I really don't like that this isn't supposed to be an openly fantasy world and instead is set in medieval times, but there are monsters and magic everywhere. It really triggers my autism. Being Fantasy NotEurope would be fine, but this doesn't fit. I hate it. It ruins the game for me

I think even Seasons of Storms had Geralt pop in and give a whole speech about how the world will always need Witchers in an epilogue set 100 years after TW3.
