Even when the original work is really bad and needs an overhaul, it's still tedious and frustrating work, and it quickly starts to feel pointless. There's no way to keep your spirits up when all you're doing is reworking something created by others (or sometimes, by yourself; the work is still thankless in that case, and I can say this with authority because I've reworked several things I'd created in the past).This culture of remakes, remasters, and reinterpretations should come to an end.

This is a neat concept but they were too cowardly to go all the way with it, to really go for something stylistically bold that really emulates puppet theater, so instead we get this weird mix of doll-like characters in pseudorealistic outfits and environments. Which simply looks terrible.
