Its only really worth getting something like this compared to original hardware for fastfowarding DS emulation and resolution bumps.Original hardware still wins in just playing games for-Not requiring a fan for actively cooling the heat generated by emulation - and these chink handhelds invest very little in heat management beyond the fan.-Much less weight/thickness, with no unnecessary controls in the way, making it much more comfortable to hold-Lag free stylus usage.Really the only flaw of a modded 3DS is that DS are blurry on the screen due to 192p being stretched on 240p (or you run it in 1:1 mode and get a tiny picture).You need to ask yourself if what you want to play makes this worth it compared to simply clipping a controller to your phone and assigning a button to swap primary screens.

Like, genuinely. For 3DS owners too, I have to say that Red Viper is a pretty good way to play Virtual Boy stuff with 3D. I think I prefer how it looks on the original system but honestly given the price of entry at like, 220-ish USD at some used game stores for a New 3DS XL, it's a pretty nice substitute for the original VB. Being able to use custom color palettes is crazy cool and makes up for the emulator itself lacking the same vibrant look the original VB has.

You can google SD8Gen2 chinkhelds like the Odin 2 Portal, non-lite Thor, RP6, Nova to see if anyone tried, but don't trust text only reports too much, they're mostly full of shit. Again, because it's not so much about performance you're not getting a considerable leap from the Odin 3, but worth checking if you're willing to pay the premium and PC matters.
