I don't complain about white paint because its a good enough tell for what the player can interact with in modern realistic graphics.But pic rel is crazy. There are 6 different visual signposts here. You have the flame, three red lights, a rag on the pole AND white paint at the end.

I don’t think it is that big of a deal honestly it’s a linear game that’s not pretending to be anything but linear. Nothing would change if the line wasn’t there the game is just a series of corridors leading between set pieces and combat encounters
