I understand that a lot of people had complaints about Code Vein 2 (new universe, denuvo, less panties, the shift to an open world, performance, etc) but I was incredibly happy with the experience. The action is more fluid and fun than CV1, exploring the world with your favorite companion is fun, the blood code and booster system encourages rotating through builds a lot for variety and the game has a super charming cast and a lot of fanservicey moments. And of course, the time travel system is pretty cool and unique as well.
