Asylum > Knight > CityCity lacks the dense creepy atmosphere of Asylum, it lacks the fluidity of combat and exploration in Knight, and it has a worse story than both of them.The entire Strange plot could have been solved at any time if Bats decided to scan the helicopters for the master chip at the start. Instead he fucks around with Joker for literally no reason and gets hung up on the cure bullshit. Reminder that it would have been impossible for Bats and Freeze to make a cure if they hadn't randomly been talking about needing Ra's blood in front of a capture LoA ninja and she wasn't randomly able to escape because Freeze happened to break her glass while torturing Penguin and she didn't randomly cut herself on the glass to make a trail of blood and if Ra's pit didn't happen to be in the middle of Arkham City and if Ra's didn't invent clockwork robots with wi-fi recordings for Bats to scan in order to find the secret entrance to the pit and so on. I get that people were disappointed with the Arkham Knight but that story is still a million times better than the utter slop in City.Origins has the best story out of all of them, unfortunately it's also a buggy mess.

For some reason the Rocksteady Batman games really worked for me when that whole comic universe is really just not my thing.I wished Batman Begins prior to this series had turned out.
