i recently got it on sale, never played it before and haven't really heard much about the game other than "it's bad." So far it's mostly bad in my experience. I'm just rushing to finish the main story at this point since 90% of the content in the game is pointless padding. the open world and scattered dungeons are bad and theres no reason to engage in any of it. i think the classes and skill trees are more interesting than diablo 3. I'm not at the endgame grinds or expansion content yet so Idk if any of it will redeem itself but so far it's a very high budget mediocre arpg. i think overall it's a step up from diablo 3 but 4 doesn't feel like it made enough steps in the right direction to make it an interesting arpg. the darker artstyle is great along with the classes I've played so far but overall it's just kind of boring to play. It feels very similar to diablo 3 still with just how it plays in combat and encounters. But maybe that's just a problem that all arpgs suffer from.

In addition, the game is incredibly easy and shits out XP and loot to the point that you're doing the pure end game farms in less than 1 day of play time.
