Anyone else think it's kinda fucked up that Metroid itself is kinda the only Metroid style metroidvania title? Everything else is much more on the Vania side, and I don't much care for that.
Going through Dread again and what the fuck was Raven Beak doing on ZDR? So Quiet Robe says the Mawkin slaughtered the Thoha before they even left SR388. He only took Quiet Robe with him because he needed someone to control the Metroids and the Thoha are the only ones who can. I'm not sure why he thinks that. The Mawkin had to help seal off the Metroids specifically because the Metroids got out of control. But fine control of the Metroids got contracted out to one guy. But by the time he went back to SR388 to get the Metroids, Samus had already killed them all. And Samus hadn't become part Metroid herself until Fusion where she assisted the Feds in scouting the planet, a complete coincidence. What was Raven Beak doing between locking up his massacred army and Samus becoming a Metroid
