>>747516194Well, aside from looking up youtube tutorials, he wants to know if you have a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), and if not then give the Reaper DAW free trial a chance to see if it clicks with you. It has a 60 buck licence for non professional use if you like it. It has Midi editor and you will need to download instruments later on separately for it. In order to use sound fonts in it, you'll need to download something called sforzando (there are other programs like it but this will work fine) and additionally, download the soundfonts for whatever snes/nes game you want f4lrom an online library. Load it in sforzando and once its done, you can open it in Reaper and start playing around with the fonts and try to make simple beats.

>>747519097Sforzando is an 'instrument' thst loads soundfonts, to be exact. You can load whatever soundfonts you want into it. He would need some specifics about what is confusing you, maybe he could help you that way.
>>747520392I only know how to explain it in instrument terms but like when on a brass instrument you can slur the notes with a "ba" expression or trill them by hitting a "takata" sound into the mouthpiece instead of the normal da and the sound is unique, or with a string instrument you can switch notes mid bowstroke for a soft transition, or start a whole new bow stroke from the draw to give the note a more aggressive feeling, "and so on"I remember they used to have a music piece that would force you to mix up all these different things so that you know how to do them in rapid succession, and so when I was whistling a tune to figure out what I wanted to make, I found that I couldnt figure out how to do these things. Vibrato is out of the question right now and doesnt even apply to some instruments. Just found this and I think its very thread appropriatehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djmdcEuorck
3rd reportAs I explained before reception has been universally positive in nearly every avenue for the full thing they are really vibing with the humor, references and emotion of the whole game and that didn’t seem to have changed (I mean there was a reason some passionate Japanese fans decided to localize the game in the first place) this next report will cover impressions between the end of the wild east to the end of the steamworks.Right away when the steamworks get going the first thing leaving the audience in awe is the music, but at this point it’s to be expected, it’s the first thing that gets complemented nearly every time, and going forward the japs find the build-a-robot minigame to be very fun and funny, I saw some people in the streams commenting on robot ideas that they could make with it, so needless to say they really liked the idea. They seem to find the chaise sequences with axis quite a bit, although it did invite some comparisons to Undyne, they enjoyed the mysterious and melancholic air about the environment around Guardener’s area and they found the minigames involving Mr. Screen very funny (probably that black company humor) and they also found the axis stealth segment fairly humorous.[1/2]
>>747527824When it comes to characters once again everyone gets some appreciation, they found the interactions between Ceroba and Clover(クローバー) very cute though out the journey, Axis had a good mix of funny, intimidating, and pitiful (in a cute way) the comparison with Mettaton (and Undyne to a lesser extent) was inevitable, but interestingly enough I saw some comparisons to Spamton, they also saw him as very emotional (the irony of thinking that despite him being a robot was not lost on them), Vendy also got lots of love they found its facial expressions and its rude personality to be VERY cute and charming.people seem to enjoy the air of mystery and the intimidation factor around Guardener, but I honestly couldn’t find much comment on her personality people seem to mostly focus on the fight and its mechanics, her robot henchman however get some attention for being pretty cute and pretty funny, and lastly they really enjoyed Mr Screen and his whole segment (again that black company humor probably had something to do with it) I remember someone making one of the most Japanese comments about it, they said “we should call a resignation agency” that one made me chuckle a bit.As expected the steamworks were a slam dunk and while impressions varied it all seems to be very positive and heading into the big climax everyone is at the edge of their seats to make it to Hotland and the ending.[2/2]
>>747527824>they are really vibing with the humorI saw one person in a stream say "these guys really get toby's humor" or something like that.

>>747527886>and pitiful (in a cute way) the comparison with Mettaton (and Undyne to a lesser extent) was inevitablesomething interesting I noticed about the japanese is they approached all of the characters in a "slot" mindset. >>747527569you know, the fandom for off is a strange thing to me.it's a cool game, very bare bones in terms of actual gameplay even from an rpg perspective, and it when I went to actually play it I was really surprised by the ending just kind of, happening. it's good and all but I wonder somewhat if it's also a product of it's time in terms of garnering popularity.also it's funny to me that a fell version of off just has everyone smiling.

>>747528617> approached all of the characters in a "slot" mindset. "oh this character is the sans slot" when mo showed up for instance.I think this might be because they came to the game with the expectation that it would follow the Undertale formula, and to an extent they were right.
>>747520231Absolutely. the whole point of the fight was hopes and dreams
>>747529172Here's the playlist, you might recognise some of the samples from Hideki Naganuma's stuff or from games made in the 90's/early 2000shttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8f_VmSoZ7Z4&list=PL_QTH-oiCtfwr7EJ7rYjjqoqpWHUtMefp&index=7

I seem to have stumbled across Deltarune/Undertale faggotry instead of an actual OST thread but fuck it I guess.A good number of WipEout tracks have been remixed in certain ways (a few being actual licensed songs or made for the game), but Tim Wright's been remixing for the past 10 years it feels like.I don't really like any of the tracks on his Chillout remix album. His Zero Gravity albums however have really great Canada remixes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aq5vQCy6wm0Also has Canada 2048 which I really like as a new mix of 2097's Canada.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jh9UpnLaNvkFluke did Atom Bomb for the OST and it did really well. They ended up packing the thing with 2-3 remixes that never got on the OST. Atomix 6 is my favorite, would've fit the game really well.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVgjE961qvwNoisia's Seven Stitches got used for a menu in WipEout, which was on the same EP as Groundhog, which has a Shibayan interpretation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nt340Up826EWas bullshit in DJ Hero. Fuck this song.Kinda related to thread subject, its two videogame tracks clearly trying to be in the style of Pendulum. https://youtu.be/3F3Nc1gLL4E?si=uTXddX3LsmIH8hgH&t=490BallisticNG's entire OST is really good honestly. They still feel WipEout despite It also reminds me that when WipEout HD was released on the PS3 that Tim Wright made an entire release specifically so you could play it on the PS3 as you played the game. I don't think the tracks are as good as the original WipEout/2097 tracks though. Similarly, if you like the Mirror's Edge OST then listen to Solar Field's EarthShine. It uses some of the same samples but the progression of the songs are more traditional to an album/track style than sectioned for combat/passive gameplay.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIn0djnPkQU>>747528798https://archive.org/details/masterbits-climax-9-vocals-ii-rapsodyI think one or two Jet Set Radio samples are on this too, not all of them.
>>747528990OFF is a strange game all around, I think most of what people remember about it comes from the twist at the ending and how ambiguous the game is about the morality of Batter's goals, also the fact that the player is adressed as a separate entity from the main character, I can see how it influenced Undertale but its honestly not a game I would have ever given a chance if it weren't for the things that it inspired, I'm not big into making theories about games.
>>747527824>>747527886Cool, the reception to Yellow seems to be pretty similar to the reception it had here at first, I wonder if they'll have the same issues we had with the ending.
>>747530751I’ve mostly been looking in twitter for that (which is frustrating in its own right) with the occasional trek to pixiv (I hide ai content in the search options so it doesn’t clutter the results, maybe you should do the same) and I’ve found a couple of resent pieces (like the one in the cover of my report for example, still a wip though), I believe we just need a bit of time for the game to settle and the japs to play around with it a bit more, and we’ll be seeing an increase in Uty art soon enough.
>>747529390>to an extent they were though martlet doesn't actually fulfill "the papyrus role"I read that originally Martlet was going to have a sister called Kestrel, but they scrapped that idea because they thought their dynamic was going to be too similar to Sans and Papyrus, so at one point she was pretty close to the younger skeleton bro.
>>747530994There's a bunch of jet set samples but a few of them use very brief sections. Off the top of my head Sweet Soul Brothers uses the opening of " Nostalgic Vocals" Humming the Baseline uses a bit of "Male Ad lib 1" and "Short Swiny"
>>747530994>I seem to have stumbled across Deltarune/Undertale faggotry instead of an actual OST threadbold words from a 2hu fan. especially considering the thread has indeed been frequent ost discussion.anyways neat stuff.

I wouldnt say surpass but this guys chrono trigger orchestral versions were quite good. I listened to them recently and very much enjoyed them which rarely happens with fan made covershttps://youtu.be/DlguRAHExmg
>>747534361my biggest problem is that the mutations are really lacking in any semblance of balance. some are unbelievably good, others are shit, and synergies don't really work for a lot of stuff and it's pretty clear it's not getting any kind of updates any time soon.
>>747534423those are pretty good on average. I also do kind of get what that guy was talking about earlier in the thread about orchestral stuff, but there's still a lot of good ones I thinkhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lqaurqK93Mut has a lot of orchestral remixes though that are kind of bland and just "well we did this but generic smash brothers orchestra style".

Before they went to do Vtumor shit forever apparently (or disappear), TOMATO GUMMY did a really great cafe arrange of some of the core F/GO and CCC tracks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8WeM3GHIGozts did a whole F/SN arrange album. Most popular is the Emiya track but I kinda like the overall album a lot.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rroCBnMCJz8Now I think about it Fate/Stay Night has a ton of arrange doujinshi stuff.

>>747534993It’s really not surprising, Masterswordremix was a musician to begin with and he had help from another two talented musicians. It’s actually kinda interesting how similar his debut into making games was to Toby’s maybe Undertale Yellow was his “Halloween hack” and his next project in the future will be his “Undertale”
>>747535368>Masterswordremix was a musician to begin with and he had help from another two talented musicians.I know but like even then, there are a shit ton of tracks and for that many of them to be good is staggering. I could just click any random track and be almost guaranteed to have a good one on my hands.I wonder if this one was inspired by that david pyrd song Pjanoohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPCpn9jpnb8
>>747535368>It’s really not surprising, Masterswordremix was a musician to begin with and he had help from another two talented musicians. The fangames lead by musicians will probably always be the ones with the best music, only the people making the music can truly know whats the music most fitting for each moment in the game, you could say something gets lost "in translation" when a dev requests a theme for a game instead of making it themselves.>his next project in the future will be his “Undertale”ehh, he already worked on that Contract Rush DX game, I think he wasn't the main dev for that one tho, but I don't know if he'll ever direct a game again or will limit himself to only doing music for games.
>>747535517Enemy Retreating is insanely underrated, one of the best tracks in the entire OST, but you kind of see why its ignored so much when you remember you can only hear it properly once per battle, then it gets pitched down and slowed, I really think that was a mistake on their part.I hope other fangames take notes and include their own version of Enemy Retreating.
>>747535775> ehh, he already worked on that Contract Rush DX game, I think he wasn't the main dev for that one thoIf he didn’t direct it than it doesn’t count, the “prophecy foretold by time and space” states that one day he will direct his own original IP and THAT will be his “Undertale” and finally his transformation into Toby will be complete.
>>747535996He doesn't have the yuri virus, he could never be the next Toby
>>747535979>I really think that was a mistake on their part.I genuinely agree. it's such a good song and I heard it before playing the game, and finding out it slows down is so strange.>I hope other fangames take notes and include their own version of Enemy Retreating.would be nice, also enemy retreating is a lietmotif in retribution I think.
>>747535775Fangames made by musicians have the best music. Fangames made programmers get made the fastest. And fangames made by artists never get made at all.
>>747536267>also enemy retreating is a lietmotif in retribution I think.its a leitmotif in END OF THE LINE and Trial by Fury as well, I'm pretty sure Enemy Retreating is meant to represent genocide Clover, which is why the leitmotif appears in most of boss themes from that route.

>>747536545I never thought to check for it in those songs but that's cool if so.>I'm pretty sure Enemy Retreating is meant to represent genocide Cloverthat makes sense, his entire outlook on the world and everything.
>>747536691nta but I was thinking about that honestly. I think with how well UTY did, if he just shrugged the drama off, he could have used that to propell himself to tangible real success, instead of falling into obscurity slowly because he's scared of stonewalling the mob. it's a genuine shame because he had talent but he'll run into this problem again since they know he bleeds now.
>>747536451>Fangames made programmers get made the fastestFangames made by programmers have should the most/best mechanics and gimmicks and fangames made by artists have the best pixel art, which usually makes them die early. Also fangames made by writers should in theory have the best stories, but I don't think we have seen that yet, and writers must have the hardest time finding people to work with them if that's their only skill because most people would see them as ideas guys, unless they I don't know, have written super lengthy fanfics before.
>>747536691>>747536781Well the hero never completes his journey without obstacles and failures, and said failures only serve to make him stronger, granted we still don’t know if the “hero” learned anything from this failure but only time will tell.
I like how the different areas have variants on the battle themehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1Ick1-vzD0>>747536807as a writer, it's hard for me to say what the line between a writer and an idea guy is. is it simply "just that he actually bothers to write", or is it more than that?regardless it probably helps writers that want to make something when they pick up an additional skill so they don't get treated as just the ideas guy, or when they sadly join someone elses team.
>>747536709>I never thought to check for it in those songs but that's cool if so.its pretty hidden in END OF THE LINE but its there, its much easier to notice in Trial By Fury,>that makes sense, his entire outlook on the world and everything.I think the point is also to show that Clover is the real villain there or that he's the real boss, Undertale did something similar with Undyne's theme being named "Battle Against a True Hero" and the Sans fight theme being called Megalovania which in itself is a reference to another game that had a track called Megalomania which played against the hardest bosses in the game.
>>747536901I mean, as much as I'm mad at him for his choices in all of this, and it made me lose respect for (person I've never personally met), I'd keep an eye out for any future projects he took part in at the very least. It would be good if he learned his lesson.
>>747537002Let’s keep our fingers crossed anon.
>>747536549>>747536691Will he add yuri into his next game if the mob pressures him enough? Can they forcefully turn him into the next Toby?Btw Toby isn't immune to peer pressure either, remember the Rose in Chapter 4 that got censored because it looked too much like a rape allegory? He also deleted his tweet saying that he worked in a track for YIIK after people found out the game was shit.
>>747536807>and writers must have the hardest time finding people to work with them if that's their only skill because most people would see them as ideas guysFinding help is hard for everyone. The problem for writers is that they need help with everything. You can make a game without a writer. Its plot and dialogue will probably suck, but you can do it. >>747536939>what the line between a writer and an idea guy is. is it simply "just that he actually bothers to write", or is it more than that?Writing an story with those ideas is what separates them, anyone can written down ideas to use later, but only those that really want to be writers can turn those ideas into a coherent story, writing is really hard and a skill that takes time to develop, unlike being an idea guy.>or when they sadly join someone elses team.>sadlyThere's nothing sad about working on another person's project, sure working on your own thing is the ideal, but what's wrong with helping someone else?

>>747539296Maybe Hussie has dirt on Toby that could destroy him, either that or Toby is worried because Hussie knows where he lives
>>747539523Even if Toby was afraid to actively throw Hussie under the bus that wouldn't force him to continue collaborating with Hussie, e.g. voicing a character in the Homestuck Animated Series. I had some years of schooling and took part in extra curricular programs related to music, though there's tons I obviously didn't absorb. the worst part for me personally as I talked about in the thread earlier, is learning how to work the programs so that you are making the sounds you want to make instead of constantly "how do I make this thing do X"but still I'll save those and watch through them.

I knew a guy that had been clean for like 5 years from heroin, and one day he just turned to me and told me I was a really nice person, then he OD'd a month later in a relapse. that shit is genuinely not even once tier.I know we mostly share fangame stuff in a lot of these threads but thanks for sharing this stuff anon.
>>747545801Inb4 mustard gas
>>747545168And it's truly amazing, right? Without jokes or pessimism, it is just great. It just works.
>>747545926?
>>747545801Is there no way you could convert these to mp3?
>>747546015I assume he's joking about the files like the classic "I'll open this and it will kill me and turn my computer into mustard gas" or something.>>747545964I miss how old /v/ was so open about just enjoying its silliness and shenanigans. I don't know if you regular the various kinds of threads we have, but I think they capture a little of that still. Just having a good time making stuff.
There was a "g/s vs red" remix I really liked but lost a few years ago. it was of course on youtube and it had that fan image of red, hidden eyes, and touching the grimp of his cap.
>>747546015Old 4chan humor. Some guy tricked a bunch of people into making mustard gas with a fake tutorial on /b/ 20 years ago. (At least I think it was /b/)
>>747545801Not bad, they are pretty short but I specially like the fourth one, they are certainly better than my attempts at Beepbox when I was trying to learn music theory for my project, have you made music using something other than that site?
>>747546184I don't know who you mean, so I hear Red and think of the fox from Rubyquest.
>>747546189nta but yeah I'm pretty sure it was /b/. there were a handful of those fake tutoials going around like the "make magic crystals" one that explodes your utensil and got a guy seriously harmed. i remember those being passed around back when I first came to the site at least.
>>747546267He probably means Red from Pokemon, the most famous Red from a videogame
>>747546225Furnace Tracker and Musescore mostly other than that, I like free daws.
>>747546189Back when /b/ wasn't just a dumping ground for glow in the dark bots and smallhatted cuckposters. Crystal smoothies and the exploding spoon were other classics of the genre. Pretty sure it's considered an international crime for passing around misinformation like that these days.
>>747546439yeah I think you can get in actual real trouble now for posting stuff like that. I don't see it getting made like before at least.
>>747546305>there were a handful of those fake tutoials going around like the "make magic crystals" one that explodes your utensil and got a guy seriously harmed. The mustard gas one was also presented as a post that teaches you how to make crystals
>>747546397If you like free drum machines drumbit is a good one. Same with Microtonal synth.
>>747546110This is the very thing I miss here and when someone says something like >/v/ has fall...It is this that I think of. I feel more comfortable knowing someone else liked and misses that.
>>747544094Robizzle's watery paws...
>>747545801I gotta agree with that other anon, that fourth one is pretty good.
>>747546106I converted them, I forgot I couldhttps://files.catbox.moe/en8q2f.wavhttps://files.catbox.moe/jjntbs.mp3https://files.catbox.moe/vs0yi4.mp3https://files.catbox.moe/mhop2v.wavThis ones a cover of third sanctuary I just made it to figure out how the song works and challenge myself with furnace trackerhttps://files.catbox.moe/eahvbw.mp3https://files.catbox.moe/95upwy.mp3
>>747546610I've been here since 2007 anon, it causes me a strong and distinct pain seeing that so much of the creative and fun energy this site used to have has vanished because people are too bitter and scared to just make things.so yeah I get you. Like I said, there's people around these threads still making things, that carry on that spirit at least.
>>747546397did you never manage to figure out any of the MOD trackers?
>>747546804Yeah, these days you gotta find these threads and hug.
>>747546352I haven't played Pokemon, at least not seriously, so that's why it didn't occur to me. My next up on the list of Reds I know was Red Savarin from Solatorobo, followed by Red Foreman from That 70's Show.
>>747546709>https://files.catbox.moe/eahvbw.mp3I like it this one is legithttps://files.catbox.moe/vs0yi4.mp3This cutoff for me around 0:29 seconds. Just dead air for the rest of it.
>>747546709>https://files.catbox.moe/mhop2v.wavI don't know much about music but I imagine The Third Sanctuary must be hard to recreate since its a pretty weird theme compared to most.>https://files.catbox.moe/eahvbw.mp3I swears this sounds like something I've heard before but I can't put my finger on it.
>>747546810To be honest I'm still trying to figure out furnace, and I picked it because it looked simple enough for me to grasp. still trying to get a grasp on FM even.
>>747546709You got any more tracker music?
>>747546550WebSynths Yeah I like to mess around in it for microtonal stuff, after I learned basic music theory I really got into learnings xenharmonics and tunings and the math behind sound in general it since it was up my alley..
Y’know it’s kinda funny how the way Clover and Ceroba’s names were spelled in Japanese makes them sound pretty similar when said out loud or written in romaji.クローバー Kurōbāセロバ Seroba
>>747547241just a few more experiments really.https://files.catbox.moe/0xyt8a.wavhttps://files.catbox.moe/f7ei46.wavhttps://files.catbox.moe/j4ork3.wavthis a remake of one of my beepbox ones when i was first trying it out.
>>747547104>I don't know much about music but I imagine The Third Sanctuary must be hard to recreate since its a pretty weird theme compared to most.Yeah the time signatures doesn't mesh well with how a tracker groups chunks of music together so I had to math it plus use the skip function a lot to get it right, which is a chore compared to using the usual guide lines.though for the notes I just looked up the sheet music online and imputed each one.
>>747536549 Did any anons here played Figburns Contract Rush DX? It's alright game, but true ending felt really off... then I saw MasterSwordRemix and kinda clicked, like oh yeah, ofcourse it would have things out of nowhere.
>>747547791Does the protagonist try to kill herself and every other character supports her decision without a second thought?
>>747547442>https://files.catbox.moe/mhop2v.wavthat is interesting. I wonder if there will be any art that draws a connection or dynamic between them because of that.
>>747547593>https://files.catbox.moe/0xyt8a.wavThis is level complete music from one of those indie pixel horror games, where the music would later get remixed into some droning ambient track when the game starts getting spooky.>https://files.catbox.moe/f7ei46.wavThis is dungeon level music, or maybe the sci fi equivalent (sewer level?)>https://files.catbox.moe/j4ork3.wavOpening reminds me of the opening to Ruler of Everything by Tally Hall. Anyways, this sounds better than the beepbox version. These all sound pretty good.
>>747547917whoops, didn't mean to link that catbox in that post, it just linked the one I opened earlier
>>747547917That may end up happening considering how important names and name spelling is in Japanese culture.
>>747547593Nice, you can hear the improvements in these compared to the Beepbox themes.>>747547953To me the first one sounds more like Intro Cutscene music for a platformer game, the kind that sounds while you see some slide images that explain the basic plot.
>>747548691very WIP Roba
Quetzali coded video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmyHCCpnHSg
>>747549563heh, I try to avoid watching shorts since they suck(lel) you in and waste your time, but I was thinking "heh, the threads" when I saw this.
>>747549614Are you telling me you saw this earlier?
>>747549675yes, I made the mistake of clicking on a short that had me curious rather than my normal ambient music.
>>747549753What if we're being sent snake sex related videos based on our discussions here.?
>>747549853no it's because that Al guy is really really popular, just like the zack d films thing he references. Though I do like the idea that the government after all this time of not being able to figure out what I like had a moment where they were just like"EUREKA, SNAKE SEX!"
>>747549563I thoughts this was going to be about cave divers or something, I wasn't ready for the subject of the video lmao
>>747550179Well it is going where no man, or snake, has gone before
>>747549915>"EUREKA, SNAKE SEX!"It truly is ingenious
If Toby wrote UTY everything would be the same except Mo would be the final boss of Geno and have Megalovania as his theme.https://youtu.be/qPX3YxeSqss
>>747551503If Toby wrote UTY the pacifist ending would not be as terribly botched BUT there would be at least one scene of Ceroba actively shitting on Starlo with whichever lesbian girlfriend he gives her AND The Annoying Dog would personally kill Clover at the end of Genocide.
>>747552423>right after killing martlet>"the deed is done, you are filled with a sense of ju-">dogsong starts playing.>camera pans over slightly to the left to show the annoying dog>it jumps ontop of the hotel statue and carries it away>long and drawn out "mechanical door opening noise" as the mettaton statue rises>exits get blocked off with dog cones, and the save point taken away (after you saved, of course)>mettaton statue starts spraying "hydrodogic" acid>only option is to stand in the dog puddle and die>it deals one damage severy second, so it'll take a minute and a half to actually die.>starting a new save gives you a dog dollar to start with. its only worth five G by the time you reach blackjack.
>>747552794well, I hated that. I'll be honest. I've seen people shit on the genocide ending because clover doesn't get his "just desserts" and I'm sure they'd cheer for that.
>>747552874Probably explains why images like this became popular, because Zenith Martlet is giving Clover his just desserts in a way.https://files.catbox.moe/vye6hq.png
>>747553239no, not at all. If anything I'd say your obsession with this probably makes people less receptive to it.
>>747553346anon, he's trying to get a rise out of you
>>747553346Completely ignoring one's "appeal" to this, if we can even call it that, it does have it's audience.Even without this guy, or multiple guys, talking about it, it's liked by people outside of here... somehow.
>>747553427yes yes I understand that. "I am completely calm" dumbledore screamed calmly.I also think to an extent he's just that obsessed with it.
>>747553239You're very passionate about this, I'll give you that. At this point I find it amusing. You do you man.
>>747553461It's best not to try to understand the minds of the bizarre.Just accept it as one of those things where it's appealing to some people, even if you can't comprehend why.
>>747553543>I also think to an extent he's just that obsessed with it.We have a bunch of people here obsessed with one thing or another, this is par for the course here.Once you get used to it, you can find the entertaining side to it all.
>>747553461there's people into scat, there's no limit to the ways in which peoples minds can break. Complicated machines break in complicated ways.>>747554015>We have a bunch of people here obsessed with one thing or anotheryes, fortunately most people don't try to turn unrelated conversations into their fetish, or argue that their fetish is more pure than othersEven the fatfags are better about that.honestly the local fatfags are more well behaved than their kind in just about any other fandom, I have to commend them for that. no siree can't just have a normal cave story thread sometimes.
Why is Toby Fox the only vidya artist people know nowadays?
>>747554015This 100%. You step in here, you're bound to see something strange. Just all part of being part of these threads.
>>747554124>there's no limit to the ways in which peoples minds can breakI can accept people liking unbirthing as weird as it is, but in my opinion if you like or are even remotely interested in anything related to scat, something's seriously wrong with you.
>>747552423Chara didn't kill Frisk though, you just erased the world together.
>>747554406scat is obviously worse, but both are the brain making associations it is not supposed to, the point being that if the brain can go as far as thinking that scat is good, of course other absurd things are going to happen.I just don't get why it's the autistic ones who thing it's a good conversation topic that always seem to get it.like the guy who did a presentation to explain his anal vore fetish to his family. There's gotta be a gear missing that would normally warn you "hey don't do this".
>>747553239Zenith Martlet moments before unbirthing.https://files.catbox.moe/3ugzwm.jpg
>>747555787Don't click the image, I just checked it, it has nothing to do with unbirthing. It's some cursed image with Ceroba farting.
MomClover.
>>747555947I'll be honest, I was in no danger of clicking on itBUTI still appreciate your service, o clicker of the catboxes.
>>747555787Image has nothing to do with Zenith Martlet, it's some image where Martlet is shoved up Ceroba's ass and she's farting on her. You don't want to click this.
>>747554173A lot of games are designed by committee these days. Not many personalities around, except in obscure indie stuff. I know Dr Nose the VOTV dev and Zeekers the Letha Company dev. There's still oldheads like Gaben and Todd Howard, but they're few and far between these days.Plus Toby is relevant to the discussion, so he gets brought up more.
Thoughts on Dusttrust X?
>>747556148I respect its commitment to the edge, even if I think its pants on head retarded and unintentionally hilarious with its skeleton screamo. It takes courage to publicly make something like that. Still gonna laugh at it though.
>>747556218>skeleton screamoI've seen this mentioned a few times but keep forgetting to actually look it up. is the battle music like that or something?
>>747555947>>747556065This just makes be appreciate the actual unbirthing images, even if it's not particularly my thing. At least then I know what to expect when I click the link, instead of some cursed catbox roulette.
>>747556304That's silly. You're silly.
>>747556241https://youtu.be/vAQISvBVJbQ
>>747556241It has screamo, and Papyrus screaming along with it.
>>747556328Hey I can respect people who post something and it's exactly what it says on the tin, even if it's fetish stuff I'm not particularly into.
>>747556341golly, that's fuckingintense.well you know, it's better than VHS sanshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdqVloNsxEc
>>747556508I don't feel any better about the person who say's he's going to kick me in the nuts just because someone else is going to stab them. I just think "wow, they should both leave my nuts alone!"
>>747556148I can't get into skeletonwank, which is unfortunate when that's like 50% of fangames that actually get released. You say "Dusttrust" and I couldn't tell you which one you're talking about because there are so many and they all look the same with the only discernable difference I can tell is that some have you fight Edgy Sans, some have you fight Edgy Papyrus, and some have you fight both at once.I know you're talking about the one released last month but this 3-year-old fangame is the one that comes to mind first:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUYb11rE9Q4It took me agonizingly long to find this specific one because there are so fucking many of these, but it has "skeleton screamo" just like Dusttrust X apparently does. These things are indistinguishable from each other
>>747557101>You say "Dusttrust" and I couldn't tell you which one you're talking about because there are so many and they all look the same with the only discernable difference I can tell is that some have you fight Edgy Sans, some have you fight Edgy Papyrus, and some have you fight both at once.this is how a lot of them make me feel. it also made me assume the same kind of stuff when I first heard the name "swapfell i hate you" but I've come to understand that's much different than that.
>>747557101Actually wait, maybe the video I posted ISN'T the one I was thinking of, because I found this older video from a different fangame, with the exact same song and an identically paced breakdownhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTsSqBVft3EThey're ALL the same, these people are making and remaking the same fight over and over
>>747557224Yeah because even skeletonwanks fangames sometimes can't escape the dead fangame curse.
>>747557452>much like regular Undertale fangames die during or after the Ruins demo, skeletonwank dies after Papyrus shouts ALL JUST A GAYDeep
>>747557504Sad...
good night anons
>>747541892oh fuck I thought this place died
>>747547863Almost.Game doesn't tell you until the very last moment, but the to do last mission your employer father-figure kills you to do that. That happens regardless if you made friends or not.

>>747565547Sadie is flat
>>747565376That's actually pretty sad if this is after Val's death
>>747565679But how happy would she be when he comes back to life after TP?
>>747565873What if there's a significant age gap between them after Val comes back?
>>747565643Sadie's actually pretty stacked.https://files.catbox.moe/r6fqvr.pnghttps://files.catbox.moe/fimjkv.png
>>747566383That would be sad, but better then staying dead>unless Asriel age regresses Quetzali so they are the same age
>>747566383Which Val are we talking about here? Normal Val or bird Val?
>>747566475That are just painted volleyballs over her exoskeleton, she wouldn't have nipples anyway because she is a bug
>>747566746The Val that has been revived post Pacifist. I don't really like the monster revival idea since the mummified bodies had to go somewhere, but it isn't that relevant
>>747566985Speak for yourself, I'm all for Val being revived as a monster idea.
>>747567353But I was in fact speaking for myself though? I was just saying that it doesn't really change anything for that question
>>747567353>>747567451Who even came up with the idea of Val becoming a bird monster anyway?
>>747566685>>unless Asriel age regresses Quetzali so they are the same ageMentally Quetzali would still be older, unless Val was conscious during his time as a soul in a jar
>>747566746Why would bird Val be dead in this timeline?
>>747567508It was a sprite edit for what-if Val was a monster. The guy who made it was mostly practicing spriting, like him making feral versions of monsters for example. It's not really a serious idea
>>747561715GR XV alert...
>>747567576>waku waku that yellow jar is looking pretty strong, can I fight it?
>>747567508Sometimes I make alt sprites for fun and for practice, I was drawing sprites for a bird monster when I made these sprites for a monster Val, the idea of Val being a roster if he were a monster had been in my mind for a while, the other idea I had for a monster Val was that of a fire monster like Luzma, except he would have a big mouth and no eyes instead of having a single big eye.
>>747569635Just noticed that Val has Quetzali colored hair
