Maybe it's a matter of preference but I hate the physics in every single one of them, it never feels right, Mario always feels off. I always prefered the responsiveness and precision of something like Crash or Jak & Daxter even if the skill ceilling isn't as high as Mario. Also Odyssey is fucking dogshit, attrocious level design and cappy transformation gimmicks, the only reason you like it is because they lowered the skill floor for trick jumps which makes you think you're pulling off insane speedrunner tricks when abusing cappy is built into the game and easier to master than walljumping in Super Metroid.
