For a perspective, as D2R released Reign of the Warlock, the following issues are with D2.

>on D2: LOD (not D2R, the OG game), there is constant battlenet outages over the last few months so ladder characters can't play
>we still don't have infinite stash space
>we still have glitches like Glacial Trail not having a waypoint, Shenk the Overseer's broken audio, Duriel dropping 6 scrolls of town portals
>endless botting and duping, 90% of games on ladder are just that
>RMT buying of items, instead of having an actual trading form for it
>Standard of Heroes still don't do anything
>you need to sell 1000 SOJ to vendors to summon Diablo Clone, once again leading to more bots
>90% of all unique and set items in the game are complete trash stats and haven't been updated since came out
>runewords are still broken af

And that's what I could think of off the top of my head
