The main story is basically a tutorial for the rest of the game. After that it becomes more like a puzzle game than an RPG, where you try to build teams that can win on turn 1 (or turn 0) for as many classes as you can stomach. Post game is incredibly long with multiple layers of progression. Fun if you enjoy making builds, but can be sleep inducing to actually play at times

It's a pokemon-ish party building game. The whole game is about building a team that synergizes to be as powerful and stable as possible. There's a gigantic number of playable monsters to choose from, other elements like monster fusion and the protagonist's passive skills make the possibilities even larger. If you love that kind of thing you should try Siralim, if you don't you shouldn't, because everything except the party building is bland to bad. The combat mostly plays itself, there's nothing interesting about exploring the random dungeons, you just make the strongest team you can think of, and when they lose you try to come up with a better one.

not really pokemon, despite being a montamer it plays more like a standard 4 (in this case 6) niggas in a row rpg where you explore procgen "realms" (dungeon floors) that are just some rooms and mazelike hallways with roaming encounters and random bullshit sprinkled around that you bump into to interact with
you don't really catch mons either, as long as you kill a single copy of it you can usually summon it when you leave the current realm and go to the summoning shrine in your castle home base
