I used to think it's over, the gaming life, but then I started practising being mindful about it and showing curiosity towards the various systems and I've learned about the arts and level design and I've learned to take short to one hour breaks when it's hard to focus and it's been great. Also lowering brightness to 35-40% helps a ton, playing in pitch darkness
