Hey guys, here's some marketing information for GTA 6. This might be a little out of date but almost everything has been set in stone for months.I only really know about digital marketing so I can't say if anything physical will happen. I'm assuming it will.>>One of the major marketing pushes coming up is a huge ARG on Instagram. There will be phony accounts created in collaboration with Meta based on the characters in the game, who'll be posting in real-time from the perspective of those characters in the game universe. There's a "livestream" planned for one of the profiles.>>There will be Instagram themes and visual changes alongside this, and an exclusive sizzle-reel of gameplay footage to be released in October. There has been a monumental amount of effort put into this and I'm frankly shocked it's not been leaked.>>Previews with both traditional outlets and digital creators have been on-going since the Summer, and are all set to release in a staggered fashion over the coming months. They are trying to advertise in countries outside of the Anglosphere, and are making sure outlets and creators from all sorts of Countries speaking all sorts of Languages are invited.>>There's going to be a press circuit featuring the cast from the game, primarily the two leads and a handful of side characters once a story trailer releases in October. Rockstar have a very keen interest in managing the public appearance of the cast leading up to and following the games release.>>There is a heavy push for short-form content, with each trailer planned to be cut up into vertical video for marketing on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. As I mentioned, there's even an exclusive sizzle-reel just for Instagram.>>Review copies are not being sent out to journalists - they must instead come to Rockstar in Scotland or New York to review the game under lock and key two weeks before the game releases. Not sure on any further details.

There will be clothing inspired by the protagonists in past entries in the series, and specalist items like a very expensive RC car created by Kyosho, and a 6-LP Vinyl boxset by Lakeshore.
