Then I saw Garry's mod and it was cool as hell and HL2 had gotten cheap so I bought it for that, then after I used it a little and it wasn't bad they started the actual good sales and buying a game on Steam for $1 or physical for $15 was ridiculous. Even modern Steam sales which are awful compared to where they were are still cheaper. And I know piracy is even cheaper but I did my pirating on the Atari 800, now I buy my games. I just wait since 99% aren't worth full price
