Diablofags want a perfect grinder slot machine, preferably with gameplay being like that in PoE1 - multiple screens exploding - while their brains simulate sounds of 100s of slot machines being pulled and jackpots going off every few minutes.

The worst thing Diablo 2 has done is the slot machine skinwalking an action game (with light roleplaying elements).

I guess this is why they're making Diablo 5 instead of updating D4. They recognize D4 is a lost cause and that their only hope is just starting over from scratch.
