This is the worst BlizzCon in history, basically.Sure, big new Diablo and SC announcements, but they have nothing to show for it. Yet another WoW reboot, yay.It all sounds so desperate. There is nothing truly fresh happening, just Blizzard management sweating as the Xbox division aims a gun at them on the stage, pleading for mercy.

>>747530737blizzcon 2026 made me sad, not with an intense sadness, in a strange way i wish i felt more strongly and cared enough to be sad or even angry perhaps, but all i can muster is "meh". it's been years so idk why but there was still an inner child for me that thought beyond reason maybe i could be enthusiastic about this year's blizzcon, that inner child was faced with a harsh reality we've all known for many years now and thus faded away along with the last tiny shred of hope i had for quality blizzard kino. it's like whne you drive past a homeless person on the side of the road, not on of those beggers but i mean a genuine case of some life gone wrong, you don't know all the details of what went wrong or who was at fault, maybe it was entirely his own doing, maybe it was fucked from the start, you don't know for certain and you never will because it ultimately doesn't matter, what happens is you take a small moment perhaps less than a second to sober yourself to how cruel it really is, there he sits filthy and beaten with no hope in his eyes while longing for mercy in any form, you don't and didn't and never will know him or how he came upon his fate, for all you know he could be evil and deserving of this, but still there is that tiny shred of time within your life in which you felt this certain way. it's a shame, perhaps tragic that a human life, this miraculous thing with so much potential for goodness, ended up like this. that's what blizzcon 2026 made me feel like.
