Only thing I think might happen is it can look like your inventory is empty because you're still scrolled down but if you scrolls up you'll find you still have it. Or maybe it is possible to lose the skateboard. It certainly seems possible to lock yourself out from ever getting it. Alternatively wish to be fast.

Just finished the game. Pretty good, but I'm also glad it wasn't much longer.What I didn't like was that you can find items and areas that are only relevant after playing through the game once or twice already.
