Amazing game, I played several times over the years with different classes like Vampiress and Mage. I remember soft locking myself in one run because by mistake I resurrected a NPC as a zombie so the NPC could not work as intended to open the next mission

Now i reinstalled recently and i'm going with the Seraphim and i gotta say, the way i am building my character right now makes me feel silly since i just use the AoE aura + AoE beam and mele weapons turning everything that comes close into mush with barely any effort.

the abilities on this game are weird. like the battle mage has fireball which does X damage in a tiny aoe that rarely ever hits more than one enemy. and then you have fire spiral which does 0.7*X damage per second over 25 seconds in a gigantic aoe
