I really like the graphics on this game

I really dont. Link's Awakening is probably Nintendo's most disappointing Zelda game for me. I was expecting it to be all 3D in Breath of the Wild's engine, so you could see the Windfish egg from everywhere in the overworld, looming over everything. What they did instead always felt phoned in.

I hate the toy aesthetic. I don’t get how OoT is supposedly inspired by puppets, shit doesn’t look puppety at all.

it looks like plastic and so does the OoT remake

I don't

Now imagine a Pokémon that looks like this.

The idea is that since it's a dream the character and music design changed to reflect that, which I can buy and accept since it's a 2D Zelda from above. Unlike OoT Remake, where we will see the toyness of it all.

is the zelda one good?

It wasn't, someone made that up.

It would be good if it were 60fps locked and no depth of field eye cancer around the edges.
