It's alright. I honestly wasn't impressed back when it came out only because I already had an N64 and the graphics seemed so bad compared to what I was playing on N64. MGS2 is the game that sold me on the series, that's the real breakout masterpiece. I think snoys just had to cope and pretend MGS1 was a lot better than it really is to pretend PS1 wasn't complete dog shit.
