I'm confus. Which one is best for gaming in a pitch black room at 75''
I want minimal black smearing, minimal bloom, tons of diming zones and 144hz
Should I go for TCL C7K, Samsung QN90F or Hisense U8K?
>inb4 get OLED
No
>WHY?
Burn-in
>THAT'S NOT A THING ANYMORE!!!!
Shut up

>burn in
it isnt even a thing on my current used FO48u
i got this trash heap at 450 dollars and its got its issues, but burn in gets removed by the system almost immediately.
also using a mystify screen savor is unironic sovl
>>
>>747549484
oh and if you are playing that far away i would strongly recommend not doing any of this and doing what diy perks did.

>TCL C7K
hands down, the other 2 have bad CAD so you'll get motion blurr like crazy depending on what screen size you have.
>>

how come I see the blacks perfectly with my miniled TV

Hisense has a Godly ADS pro panel. It's the white man's TV panel. Fuck OLED. Fuck VA.
>>
my favorite part about people who say burn-in doesn't happen anymore are the casuals who can only play games for 30 minutes a day
>>
>>747549827
I own this one. Pretty great for everything but competitive games, I feel like the motion blur, even at 144hz, just doesn't compare to a monitor.
>>
>>747550274
You're not meant to play competitive games on a TV so its OK

Do you notice any ghosting with this test?

You're an idiot
I bought my C6 OLED TV 19 months ago and I game 4 hours a day and I haven't noticed any burn-in so far

I'm a neet who just sits inside on my pc most of the day every day, my tv is on basically all day long and i use it as my main pc monitor. I has an lg c1 for 2 years using it this way, ans I've had a Samsung s90d for almost 2 years now. I use this when browsing the net as well as gaming, i even have it on max brightness. Zero burn in on either tv. I have essentially been using the tv for the same amount most would in like 5 years, zero burn in.
All i do is auto hide my desktop panel and browser panels, and auto hide in game ui elements if possible, and make it so the screen goes to a black screen saver if i am idle for a few minutes, otherwise i don't stress about it
Anti oled fags are choosing a worse screen for no reason

It's literally all automatic so i don't have to do shit, i did this before i even got the oled because why would i want clutter on my screen when i don't need it?
It's not even a requirement but a preference
Do you complain about lights that automatically turn off after you leave the bathroom as well?
>ugh it's such a bother having to do literally nothing
>>
Burn in still exists and will always exist in OLEDs. Most mitigation techniques are just making it less noticeable e.g. pixel shift
>>
>can see shadow letters from my onscreen keyboard on my phone screen
OLED is turbogay fragiletech.

Yes, by wearing the rest of the panel to match the wear on your burned in pixels, retard-kun.

It's great but I don't recommend it because it's really fragile and mine broke like twice in 5 years
>>

>um all your pixels got burned ackshully
looks fine to me. even expanding my task bar which is by far the most eggregious difference maker in preptual UI i cannot even see a hairline difference on what is nearly basically a 5 year old used monitor i use as my daily driver and rarely even bother to turn off. the biggest things I hate about it are the autodimming and the nagging. as far as the display goes. I cant imagine not getting my moneys worth here. I paid more for the CRT next to it and while it beats it out in motion clarity it cant hold a candle in brightness and color.
>>
>>747552836
oled 48"er and a nice high end CRT, regular 4k STN display and a decent wide screen for a keyboard
>>
>>747552836
some 4k TCL miniled that was $1000 at the time
it's been awesome so far and blasting full brightness at night with HDR would recommend/10
>>
>>747550207
I've had one for 2 years and probably average 6-8 hours a day with it on
No burn in, dimming maybe but I use it on 10% brightness so I don't care, those things are way too bright anyway
