Big empty open world Kirby is fucking disgusting.
Not every game needs to be set in a big empty open world.
An interconnected set of levels and paths with secrets and many alternate routes would be superior. Like castlevania.

The way they barred off new areas is at least interesting. Open world slop became too content with numbers gating you from sequence breaking, so it's nice to see something a little more honest and designed to actually evoke intrigue.

I miss actually interesting level design and locations to explore rather than just big empty open field dotted with POIs.
And as it looks King Dedede doesn't even get a cool castle or ring but is just fought generically in the open field. I hope they won't do the same with all other bosses.
I didn't like Elden Ring for the same reason but at least Elden Ring had the Legacy Dungeons.
