How do (((paleontologist))) explain the dinosaur mass extinction event when crocodiles lived through it too and are still there completely unchanged?
>>747558245Crocs were not the only ones that did that, as far as animals that look similar to modern ones go. Many plants, as well as good bunch of amphibians and fish that you would call similar to modern ones also did.I believe it had something to do with the fact that those animals (and plants) could survive and find niches better when climate went to hell after asteroid hit. Metabolism more suited for waiting things out. But I am sure many species died out too and then survivors radiated into the now vacant niches.
