>>747604136The problem with slicer is it can't chain it, it's just a good punish option that usually just forces the player to wait until you start to use it to PA then you use your AA but LS is now out. Unless you have two strong punishes it just doesn't do anything and you have to sacrifice stagger for that which means you're probably just going to slapped around and they're going to get an early PA. Dagger setups are pretty much always superior short of double melee since you can just dagger-AA-dagger.

If you want the GOOD old controls, Armored Core 3 and it's sequels (Silent Line, Nexus, and Last Raven) are probably the deepest the plot and Armored Cores themselves get in the entire franchise. If you want a game that learned how to use the Right Stick five years after everyone else, Armored Core 4 and For Answer are the best. 5 and Verdict Day probably aren't worth the time and effort to play them. They were both trying to do too much with online features that weren't great in the first place, and are now basically a necrotic conjoined fetus with the online obviously dead.I, Real Gamer with objectively correct taste in everything, would most recommend trying 3 and its sequels first.
