I like it as a handheld but the ergonomics are shit and you need some aftermarket grips. I would have recommended a Deck in the past pre-price hike. Being able to play switch games handheld at full resolution and framerate is nice.

I like it more than Switch 1. It just feels like a "Perfect Switch" especially since they added the Handheld Boost mode, so if you don't need the touch screen you can just play most Switch 1 games in 1080p with improvements to performance as if it's in Docked Mode, and it's literally a free remaster to so many Switch 1 games. Everything also loads way faster.
I don't use it much because Nintendo exclusives are even sparser than they were early in Switch 1's life-cycle but DK Bananza was ahoot, and there's a large batch of potentially missed Switch 1 first party games to play with the official Switch 2 upgrades.

I'm very happy with mine, that's for sure, and I never really got to play my OLED much. I've probably already played the 2 more than my OLED.

I had Switch 1 so I already played most of the good stuff. I got Switch 2 day one, and after playing Mario Kart World and DK Bananza for 40 hours each, I havent touched the damn thing. Im tempted to buy Fire Emblem despite being too easy and filled with nonsense just to use the damn thing

It's a decent enough console. Good complement to PC gaming, like always.

It's at least actually got exclusive games worth playing, so there is that.

I will admit though it's not really a handheld so much as a console that's convenient to pack away for vacation or trips so we just included a screen and controls to capitalize on that, by which I mean that just like the OG Switch it's still way too fragile, large, and expensive/a target for theft to actually like, casually carry around like you could a GBA or a DS/3DS, or a PSP, where they'd just fit in a pocket and were decently tough and not too crazy high value a target so like you could just carry them to play during downtime if you wanted. I ended up buying a fucking Super Pocket to cover that niche for myself.
