Valve is arguably the only reason PC gaming even exists still. Its weird how people forget Microsoft was literally trying to kill PC gaming throughout the 2000's in order to drive Xbox sales. Forcing PC games to be multiplat or even exclusive to Xbox, GFWL, fucking up Vista and DX10, destroying hardware accelerated sound in games. Where was Tim Sweeney and Epic back then? Oh yeah, making games for 360.
