I quite literally bought this game on launch day (back when you could only get it on iOS) and I was extremely disappointed. All the puzzles were stupid and all the characters were really quite generic, including the goddamned talking dog. It kind of felt like L5 were going for the Yo-Kai Watch audience, which is fine on its own, but isn't Layton at all.

I dropped it a few cases in and wished that they'd just made an Emmy spinoff instead. Or maybe one where Luke is older.
