And in the traversal there are additional red lights. And the "hidden" combat trials have giant purple roots that sprout up to point you towards them. And the "hidden" chests emit a sonar sound along with a giant pulsing blue light. If it was *just* the smell-o-vision, people would not be dunking on it this hard.
