UE5 scales massively with internal resolution, and the ultra settings are always overkill because they turn on all the hardware lumen stuff that still looks like shit and the insanely expensive volumetric clouds nobody notices anyway.>BUT I HAVE A 5090!!!Use that extra power for a high refresh rate experience. Put it on High instead of Ultra, use DLSS Balanced or Performance at 4K, and you'll probably be playing it at 144fps. Add 2x frame gen on top if you have a 240hz+ refresh rate monitor.You should want stronger hardware to have a better experience, not to have shitty effects you won't even notice. Running at much higher framerates is the better experience.
