No, the game was utter ass gameplay wise. Devs started to figure out how to make a good combat system on ps2/xbox with ngblack, dmc3 and godhand, and the following gen was the best when it came to action games as we were given bayo 1 and ng2. But a lot of other action games still suffered from subpar combat, the wolverine game included.
