Holy moly, y'all weren't kidding. Coming back to this game after years and the pacing of the cutscenes and plot hits like a ton of bricks, its barely playable. That said, it was awesome when it was still a next gen game. But now, I can't justify picking herbs and listening to NPCs for the majority of my playthrough.
The Portable games are way better because they are by definition Portable. They get right to the action right away because they are burning battery & train time.
