With the framerate still being capped at 30, what is the point of this upgrade? This has to be the smallest upgrade of all the Switch 2 "upgrades" that exist.

It's just a resolution bump to 4k while still being locked to 30fps with no other enhancements at all. >>747581723not him but even for games where you think the physics aren't significant mechanics, changing the FPS when the game isn't intended for it can break things. the example I know is bully. you can download a fan patch that raises the FPS to 60, but this can do weird shit. most notably is making the game run at double speed, which can be fixed with further changes. but there are also just weird things like interactions jimmy will get locked in and unable to complete, or missions which just can't be beaten because they won't progress or mechanically they don't work, just due to FPS going up.
