It's cartoonish being railroaded into working for Cerberus when the first game establishes over and over that they're psychos, and if you play Sole Survivor they're directly responsible for the deaths of your whole unit. Not to mention that half the NPCs you meet (justifiably) distrust you immediately because you're basically walking around with the corporate logo of the Space KKK on your chest.
