i still don't forgive them for what they did to lucas

I do but I'm honestly sick of the shit they keep releasing for World of Assassination.
Constant ET rehashes, dumb celebrity collabs, twitch drops etc. I've been completing them as they release but I'm honestly close to just walking away and uninstalling it forever

ok /v/, which one fits Hitman best?

The gameplay loop is fantastic. The fact that it's essentially always online for a prodimentally single player game is utter bullshit.
>>
>>747586647
It literally doesn't get better than WoA pirated, yes.

I don't like it, I love it

It's one of the best modern single player experiences (based on me playing it some years ago, there might have been small changes and I stopped playing before freelancer came out) even if it doesn't get to the level of freedom BM has. In BM you could push people over ledges or whatever in very obscure places and do other mindless stuff discovered only years later, but WOA engine plays it more safe because it's so fragile they can't even make functioning elevators. At least they are able to do working mirrors, that's something.

But they did take notes on what people liked in BM, what good things Absolution had, and what should correctly be done differently for most part. Lmao at the always online component, so they really have to know if some player likes to strangle whores too much so it can't be offline unless you pirate it.

As a whole IOI is effectively a scam company that markets Twitch with 'twitch drops'
But WoA isn't a bad game. It's jsut that after the first two locations, it was clear they had no diea what they were doing and were going to go the route of 'bro it's seasonal'
>>
>>747586647
No.
>>
>>747589272
I dunno other than I was shocked how big every level was like every level seemed like a city block which would have previously been 2-3 normal levels.
>>
when i saw agent 47 being heckin wholesome with a dike, i knew these people didnt actually give a shit
>>
>>747589508
that's the problem
Originally it was meant to be a new level every two months but retards thought 'once I get SA why bother playing it' so after Italy, they had t o just backtrack and make as much sloppy shit as possible
IF you look at how much of Paris and Italy is actually used compared to where the two targets are (including the virus in Italy), around 70% of the map is pointless
It was meant to be used a bit like the contracts were with IOI putting their own ones in but they stopped the idea when fans wanted 'just more targets in new levels' since most of them are retard who have no idea how to play Hitman

Based Contracts appreciators. Still my favorite Hitman trailer.

WoA has leaps and bounds more freedom than BM
BM has more game mechanics but is heavily held back by its limited map design and relatively static targets. In WoA a static target is a level gimmick, in BM, it's basically half the targets in the game
>>
>>747586647
Yeah it's alright despite the coping.
>>
Fellas, am I a bad person if I enjoyed freelancer mode more than the main campaign?
>>
>>747589734
Paris is compact. Most of it is used in the main mission in some way or another. The only parts I can recall being totally pointless for the main mission are the west side of the building exterior, and the museum and cafe on the first floor

Anyway, we got better maps after those two anyway

freelancer is the true way to play hitman
>>
>>747590082
Freelancer is just Contracts mode (which is shit)
Only the Showdown missions are worth anything because of the new NPCs
>>
>>747589903
Some BM levels needed another draft
>Opera level is too hard for a second level because you don't have much equipment and this level has one of the few actual static targets in the booth
>the route where you switch weapons takes 20 minutes to complete
>and your rank will fail if you go for sniping
>could be fixed if the booth target went to bathroom on breaks or something like that

>Casino level gimmick where it takes almost 10 minutes for the Sheik to arrive doesn't work that well because you can't speed it up but there's also no such thing as targets fleeing which did happen in og H2:SA after all to add tension

>White House level is pretty much a linear tunnel even if it has some alternative solutions every now and then

Other than that the targets do move or can be lured quite a lot even if obviously you can say if they had more time there could be even more random routes.
>>
>>747586647
Yes. WoA is Hitman perfected.
>>
>>747590656
Curtains Down is easily the most overrated Hitman level ever
They designed the entire thing around the prop gun swap
If you decide that you want to do anything other than the prop gun swap, the level completely falls apart
>>
>>747590082
Not really, no
Freelancer is just a rng mode so it's great if you don't like the idea of 'learning the maps' the way IOI designed them (ie with the targets in mind)
>>
>>747590990
I don't know who has overrated it, but it also supports using sniper rifle on both targets and you can upgrade the sniper to be fully silenced from the start. Just that sniping ruins SA ranking if they have time to recognize there's a body and don't go full panic. There's also dropping two chandeliers but you only have one bomb playing it the first time. It doesn't work as well as they imagined.
>>
>>747590656
I'm still mad that sniping D'Alvade with a silenced sniper rifle at the exact time he gets shot makes the shooter a witness.
Also yes, the white house mission is bafflingly bad. Easily the least replayable mission in the game, even more than the tutorial.
>>747588781
>>747589796
I love this game but I can't get SA on the highest difficulty in the The Bjarkhov Bomb no matter wtf I do. I've tried that mission dozens of time but it just won't give me SA. There's always 1 fucking alert somehow.

I think it's one of the most successful and well done "remake" in a land of shit lazy money-grabbing remakes that does nothing but put the unreal engine filter on and censore anything deemed unsuitable for the "modern audience" (aka niggers, trannies and jews).

It felt like a real reboot, but they managed to fit it in the lore of the game perfectly so the previous hitman are not discared. The game just works great in its genre, the gameplay is simple but effective, the story is alright, the levels are the true strenght of the game, with very different settings and layouts. I think one of the most kino thing is the sub missions stories in each mission, and the challenges. Really makes you want to try all those way of killing your targets, and pushes replayability, even for me who don't like to replay finished missions or games in general.

It's a pitty I.O got taken over by fat and ugly liberal femcels, beta cucked onions men and a sprinkle of jeets, because they truly had managed to revive a franchise and deliver 3 solid games and all kind of additional bonus content to keep it alive and replayable.

When I see their new James Bond ass game with Bond looking like a retarded pub crawler and soccer fan english millenial, and the team surrounding him looking like M.India 6, I know they've fallen and they won't ever be able to deliver such enjoyable games like Hitman were.
>>
>>747588471
And thats a good thing!
>>
>>747592220
WoA isn't even remotely a remake. It is explicitly a sequel to all the previous games.
>>
>>747592220
It doesn't remake or reboot anything other than maybe trying to make people forget about Absolution while taking what worked in Absolution.
>>
>>747593140
Dartmoor is sorta a remake of Beldingford Manor, though obviously not a very good one
>>
>>747592220
>Bond looking like a retarded pub crawler and soccer fan english millenial
i was neither here nor there on the 007 game but have you ever watched any bond ever?
>>
>>747593593
Sure and Another Life is a remake of A New Life or what the names were.
>>
While some of th e levels are clearly inspired by older games, I think all of them are their own unique thing
>>
I can't imagine hating WoA in the current era of gaming when we're getting shit like Wolverine. We could have easily gotten a Hitman game in the same vein.
>>
>>747595483
this, i cant think of a better AAA game in the past decade than nuhitman. thats not even to say its a phenomenal game/series, the bar is just unbelievably fucking low
>>
>>747596589
I don't even really think Hitman counts as AAA. IoI are technically an indie studio, and you can see their budget limitations in things like the Hitman 2 cutscenes
