Nice! You should try the dualsense Dongle on github. I bought 2 pico2w direct from rasberry pi store for <$20 bucks shipped. You get all the functionality including haptic triggers, rumble and mic as well. I threw on a couple 3d printed cases off amazon, short micro usb cables and some magnetic tape to keep it attached to my pc cases.

>>
>>747592956
It looks better than native unless you mean DLAA. Also with the latest ray reconstruction update the upscaling is much better than before because the old ray reconstruction was basically reliant on DLSS3 upscaling
>>
>>747593012
Yes, DLAA will look much better than both TAA and DLSS. RR4.5 won't help this game if you run low internal resolution, it's strange game.

>>
>>747593196
Any lighting setting under Max (which RR forces) uses a different fallback system that must use a pitifully low ray count (or something, idk for sure what's going on). Modders have forced RR on lighting settings lower than Max but RR can't fix it.

>>

If anything, I would need to upgrade my CPU and mobo. GPU prices are ridiculous and there’s absolutely zero sign of the prices decreasing anytime soon. If I did upgrade my GPU, it might end up bottlenecking my CPU
>>
do I NEED to put a 3rd fan on the front of my case?
or is two 140mm in a mid tower enough?
>>
>>747592638
I would worry about a gpu dumping 600w of heat onto those fan cables but then I saw the 5090 and realised you've got bigger problems.
>>
>>747593228
Because they rarely leak, i can’t think of a single company that was ever known for doing so. Custom loops are a different story, when you leave it to the user to match fittings and tubings it becomes more likely. I know for a fact a retard like you would fuck it up and blame AIOs as whole rather than your own failures.

True. Besides who’s gnawing on their aio tubes anyway? Covid did a number on y’all’s brains.
>>
>>747593228

Yeah, Gigabyte went down in quality significantly during the corona and Zotac wasn’t that great before or after. Everything else is gone, XFX will at least honor your warranty for defects which are rare. Luckily if it’s not terribly difficult, you can tear it down yourself and use PTM7950 and/or whatever paste to address the hotspot and memory pads they fucked up.

I have my 9070xt undervolted and power limited to the minimum already anyway, with a slight memory OC it only loses like 3% performance but drops over a hundred watts
the memory still sits at 90°C but apparently that's normal for hynix DDR6 vram
I read gigabyte supposedly fixed the paste pumpout issues or whatever they had in their earlier models but they still are using paste on the die apparently instead of a pad
would adjusting the fan curve impact the vram temps at all?

I limit my 240hz monitor to 100hz too because otherwise it flickers like fuck, not sure why that game makes the vrr freak out but capping the monitor fixes it and I don't have to use the gay anti flicker settings so whatever

intel hasn't made a good product since the 8700k
pic related, my old 8700k build that's now hosting my truenas/jellyfin box (not pictured, the intel b580 GPU I reinstalled last week and was too lazy to snap new photos of)

fractal north is bae, it's one of the only cases I'd consider to replace my antec p182se
it's the case I used to build a living room PC for my brother and his kids, even his wife thinks it looks good.
my NAS is in a fractal Define 7 which has lods e space for drives and runs extremely quiet, was super easy to build in (at least once I rearranged the internal panels for the NAS layout, that was a bit of a pain actually.

honestly doesn't matter, as long as the heatsink is mounted properly it will spread out on its own
I still spread mine out with a business card anyway tho

There is something that just clicks aesthetically with a Radeon card in an old case

Using it for about 5 months. It's a beast of a card for everything I play. DLSS 4.5 is the biggest upgrade this card got because it makes 4K dlss performance look amazing.

>fucked up mounting my air cooler the first time
>ended up lifting off the IHS
>take it off completely to redo it
>wipe the thermal paste from in to out instead of out to in
>mfw amd cpu
>mfw thermal paste all in the cracks
>mfw thermal paste under the IHS
>mfw spend an hour and a half with plastic picks and coffee filters and q tips and a shitton of alcohol trying to clean it all off and get it out from under the IHS

did you add an extra fan on the front at all?
>>
>>747625396
oof

>>747625456
there's two in the front, you can see part of them
I'll have to remember to ask my bro if he wants that top exhaust fan moved to the rear next time I'm over his place. not sure why I did that, probably just cause it was easier at the time.

>built NAS with 7x 18TB refurb drives in Jan 2024
>drives were $170 each
>same drives now are $480 each
thank god for 5 year vendor warranty, they've replaced five of them since then (and had 1 DOA replacement drive)
might have not been the drives themselves though, seems my raid controller was overheating, so I repasted it and ziptied a 40mm fan to the heatsink and it's been running better since
>>
>>747593674
You mean the fan cable on top of the cars? It's going under the GPU and didn't stay lying there like on the photo
I've been running it for 6 months now alongside voltage monitoring to make sure nothing goes to shit and everything is dandy
