Oddly enough I just booted IB up for the second time in a year. Its still fun and very methodical. Milds is kusoge and now with Neros devil arm its going to be ridiculous. The portable team should be doing wacky combat to break the pace; with mainline now bing bing wahooing it just ain't gud.

world and iceborn story is abysmal and she makes up 50% of the reason why
90% filler fights are most of the rest, but the game really fucking sucks mad dick once you get to iceborn and are in "land of the gimmick, not optional edition"

I don't care too much about the NPCs in Monster Hunter, but I do care about the monsters. Especially Khezu, I want to see his return in the new expansion.
