What's the best Dragon Ball game?
Hard to say, but my heart says BT3, even if it's not objectively the best.>Attack of the Saiyans>Budokai 3>BT2>RB2>LoG II>Buu's Fury>Fusions>Advanced Adventureare all pretty good too. Pretty good series track record all around honestly, only a few stinkers.I like Xenoverse 2 for what it is.I'm really hoping we get some fun AF-tier fanfic stuff with Xenoverse 3, seeing as it's set in the far future.
No dragonball gamba this weekend...

Advanced AdventureBT2/3 & DBFZ are close. Attack of the Saiyans & Fusions are very good RPGs in different ways, though if you want a full retelling and don't want turn-based combat then the Webfoot trilogy or Kakarot provide that despite the rough edges of actually playing them.
You did get the Dragon Ball Super Burger King crown right /v/?
>>747619880You didn't get a shirt?
kakarot is the only good one.
>>747617717Usually the games with the best gameplay or craziest what-if scenarios, so personally speaking:>Hyper Dimension>Budokai 3>Tenkaichi 3>Advanced Adventure>Attack of the Saiyans>Supersonic Warriors 2>Ultimate Butoden>Extreme Butoden>Fusions>World Mission>FighterZAnd if it hits all the right notes, I think Xenoverse 3 might be added to this list eventually.
>>747619880I didn't even realize BK was still doing crowns, I thought that was a thing in the 70s
>>747617717For fighting games it's either BT3 or FighterZ, for RPGs it's Kakarot followed by Attack of the Saiyans, Legacy of Goku 2 and Buu's Fury.
>>747619880It's been over 25 years since my country last had Dragon Ball fast food promotions, I miss them.
I've always wanted a sequel to the Super Nintendo RPG Legend of the Super Saiyan.I loved how it turned the power up saiyans get when they get their asses kicked into a gameplay mechanic. I also liked how you could keep characters alive past when they died in the show and they'd be in the party for Namek. And you got to choose who you wanted to wish back. The only scripted deaths were Piccolo and Goku everyone else was optional. It was really cool to have an RPG based on Dragon Ball Z that actually tried to turn Dragon Ball Z into a game. Each character had a Power level and the delta between yours and theirs determined if you could just shrug off enemy attacks, it also felt great when you just start tanking from weaklings too far below you for like zero damage. The stupid card based battle system was ass though, and the battle theme is like a malicious genetically engineered earworm that never leaves you.So in some ways its the best DBZ game, because its one of the few games that lets you actually play out DBZ holistically rather than as handful of individual one-on-one encounters.
>>747626160Didn't Xenoverse recreate the Super Saiyan Vegeta what-if from that game in a PQ mission?
Supersonic Warriors had a pretty unique take on the 2D fighting game genre that meshed well with DBZ's airborne battles, it's a shame those portable, mid to low budget games don't get made anymore. Mobile completely killed that niche and now I'll never see a Supersonic Warriors 3
>>747627136I think it did, yeah.I'd like to see all of DBZ done in that style with a new battle system.
>>747628507extreme butoden is supersonic warriors 3Literally made by the same devs
>>747628824The gameplay is completely different. Extreme Butoden is a classic, grounded fighting game while SSW lets you fly around freely and changes your moveset based on relative position.
>>747628507>>747628824They also did FighterZ too. Though considering the last DLC, I think Bamco might've burned bridges with them.
