Now that the dust has settled, was sniper glint a good change?
>>747628132no
>>747628132No.If you're a white christian with a mouse and keyboard, one you already know you're constantly being watched either by Jesus or a sniper, and two you can randomly strafe left and right and not move in a straight line.Glint is cope for being brown and a consoletard.
>>747628895>being watching by only one of jesus and a sniper>not being watched by sniper jesusNGMI
>>747628132Snipers are game breaking. They either make them as they supposed to work and it's op and annoying, so they make it act like a bs mini game to artificially inflate difficulty or just nerf it into irrelevance.Snipers rarely work well in these shooters.
>>747628132Can you still snipe whole map with the standard pistol in bf games by knowing the bullet drop? If yes it's a retarded addition.
>>747629058>Snipers are game breaking.the power of snipers is scaled by map designa well made map levels the playing field for all weapon classessame goes for shotgunsbad map design makes them dominateretards think the only way to balance it is to make them shit
>>747629512thisliterally just don't design maps where the sniper spots are only reachable by walking in the sniper's sight lines
>>747628938>The father, the son and the sniper who spent the last 3 days in a ditch waiting out a respawn timerI don't get why people don't understand the concept of the trinity.
>>747629512I dominated with snipers back in waw and mw times on small maps. Back then in 1.6 avp cared not about distance. When it works as irl it's lethal at every distance except small tunnel fight maps. I barely have any trust in modern hit detection systems anyway.Warframe looks fun and very sniper friendly, no twitching bs call of turdy movements.
>>747628132Snipers aren't the problem, it's the map design and lack of team communication and coordination tools. In BF2 the maps were larger and open, snipers could get into very advantageous positions, and had no glint or 3D markers working against them, but often a sniper didn't have that many target opportunities because players weren't funneled into lanes. And if a sniper did become a particular nuisance, squad leaders could easily communicate with each other and/or the commander to coordinate his removal.
So can we all agree this is very lame game design element? It's low effort attempt at balance.
