The PS2 didn't cost me much gaming wise. The PS3 is where I racked up expenses. Then I upgraded to PS4, PS5, Wii U, Switch, Switch 2. Those games aren't cheap. Though some years I barely bought any. Still I did buy some titles on launch day. The lesson for you kids. Stick to Steam. It's just cheaper longterm. Backlog? I don't really use that term anymore. I play what I play. I'm currently working on beating Nioh 1 and 2. I mostly consider games to be things I can keep coming back to again and again forever. Binding of Isaac and Hyrule Warriors DE and TotK are like that for me.
