How many factions did Total War: Warhammer launch? How many does the 3rd game have now?
Any further questions?

Fucking idiots.

they'll obviously add more factions... for a price.

Oh noooo whatever shall we do without Chaos Chuds!
being serious they should have close to enough for a faction since they already have demons from total war Warhammer fantasy and add some extra shit to make it 40kish
>>
>>747631691
anon, they will obviously add more faction later

How many factions did Street Fight 1 launch? How many does the 3rd game have now?

Yeah, same as Total War: Warhammer, isn't it?

Sucks with the drip feed and the DLC but what can you do
>>

Fucking good. Sick of the daddy issues faction barging into every goddamn thing in 40k and making it all about them.
>>
I'm thinking they're based 1st edition chads
>>
>>747632632
I wouldn't mind Chaos but I recently realised I just don't like how they are portraid in the 40k video games. When I was reading lore books and the codexes, etc. I always imagined them to be a horrifying serious threat. But in the video games, the chaos characters are always coming across as so goofy and impossible to take seriously as a catastrophic threat. Maybe because of the unserious voice acting, I'm not sure. As much as I love Dawn of War 1, I blame it for this because they started it.

How long until we get the only faction that matters?
>>
>>747631823
Vampire Counts, Empire, Orks, Dwarves. Two legendary warriors each, no legendary heroes, shared tech tree concepts, 4x elements, and unit diversity was 1 third what it is now.

People will say Chaos but Chaos you had to pre-order to have it on launch. Otherwise you paid for it. Even then, it had no Chaos God content, three legendary lords and the faction was half-baked until Total Warhammer 3.

If it survives it could be the most complete depiction of the factions in the history of gaming. But you're going to have to pay/wait for all of it.
>>
>>747631823
Didn't it release with 5.5 factions?
>>
>>747632804
4+ years. Chaos Space Marines will come before them.
>>
>>747631691
It's called Total Sellout: DLChammer for a reason
>>
I would be more concerned with the fact the overworld map looks laughably bad. If they are not fixing it in launch - it's over
>>
Would 40k be better if space marines weren't their own faction and were instead just super units for the imperial guard?
>>
>>747632804
Tau are Nid food. They're getting squatted next edition.
>>
>>747631691
First total war game?
>>
>>747631691
Since Indians and pakistanis now make up a mass % of people under 30 in all western nations, you'll have indians in everything soon.
>>
>>747632804
If they're following the real world faction releases then they should be between the tyranid and necrons.

Nids were technically a thing in 1st and 2nd edition, but the modern incarnation of nids wasn't really a thing until 3rd edition in 2001 when GW overhauled them to resemble the zerg after the massive success of starcraft in 1998.
>>
>>747633059
What's wrong with that?
Huh? Huh? I can't hear you?
Yeah, that's right, nothing.
>>
>>747633007
Tau are one of the more popular factions in the setting. Consistently in the top 10 most played.

The only factions that are in any kind of realistic danger of being squatted are dark Eldar, imperial agents, and maybe gray knights.
>>
>>747633294
Tau models aren't selling and they're Bretonnia tier now.
There's no purpose in keeping them around, especially now that the anime fad is over.
>>
>>747631691
>>NO BIG BAD TO FIGHT AGAINST
Uuuhh, Space Marines and Imperial Guard?
>>
>>747632829
>>747632830
The point is that they are obviously going to milk this shit dry and sell you all the factions as DLC, and you're going to like it and buy them all.
If a forgotten and buried franchise like pre Age of Sigmar WHF could run for a decade by chuds bying all the faction DLCs, then an ultra popular franchise like 40k is going to print money using the same model, and they would be stupid not to do it.
>>
>>747633386
But without Chaos, there's no good faction. Only evil ones.
>>
>>747633431
Uuuh, Orks?
>>

>>
>>747633457
Aren't the eldar that fucked off and just ride dinosaurs a good faction?
>>
>>747633443
Orks are neutral. They're just glad to be here.
>>747633457
Chaos is objectively the good guy faction of the setting, it is the only one with a chance at ending the Imperium's tyrannical regime and instituting a just empire in its place.
>>
>>747632830
Chaos warriors weren't supposed to be playable, but CA gave into pressure and rush jobbed them into a playable state before launch and tossed them in as a free pre-order bonus. It's why they sucked ass to play until wh3.

Norsca and bretonia had partial rosters at launch so they wouldn't be out of place empire clones in their respective regions.
>>
>>747631691
They were thinking: we'll make them pay for the rest.

There's no true good guys in 40K and I don't know why that's such a hard pill to swallow.

It's a shithole universe where the average person has a substantially lower quality of living standard than even the poorest man in the most improvished nation today. Entire worlds of people are de facto slaves and even the brilliant minds across an entire galaxy are clouded in medieval-tier mental obstacles and indoctrination. Hell most of them can't even fathom there's something better, which is why so many fall to Chaos because no matter how bad it is, you're still 'more free' than in the Imperium. Sometimes the retardation of humanity is to the point that basic science and logic we know is considered an arcane art or magic to them. It's so fucking bad their golden age is popularly seen as a dark age and the Imperium is only one shitty empire in a whole ocean of retards, zealots, and Lord Blood Cum of the Rape Demon Warband. Your other choices are a clone army of jewish thieves worshipping computers, literal 1984, or space elves that can see the future and somehow continue to job into extinction.

You retards fall for the obvious thing CA can fix while the whole fucking game looks like a Rome 2 mod again and the only work went into the stupid planets and galaxy map, while they refuse to talk about space battles and any specifics, how big or what the maps truly encompass.

All while battles still use the same Rome 1 (2004) systems and structure.
Two line-battle armies shooting each other until one dies, Napoleon had better gameplay.
Then we are still limited by 40 unit cards, no dynamics and innovation here.
Then we have brain-dead AI again.
Stupid mobile-game battle gimmicks, these were in Shogun 2 and really limited by fleets at the coast, so not even a new thing but completely overtuned and stupid here.
CA was just a year ago heavily lambasted for their lazy and greedy practices to let the game core rot only to pump out more DLC and they learned nothing from it and just pump out more slop on the same rotten and boring core they used 22 years ago.

And you children scream about some stupid skin for your Napoleon armies.

Pathetic.
>>
Despite being a Total War game, 40k doesn't feel like 40k in scale

They're using a slightly scaled up tabletop unit count instead of lore numbers

Guardsmen and regular Boyz should be like 200 dudes at the minimum with Stormtroopers around half as that

Spess Mehreens should be a full squad of 10, one sergeant and one Lieutenant

Regular aspect warriors like Guardians can be like 100-150 with rarer and stronger ones like Dark Reapers and Fire Dragons at 60-80
>>
>>747633294
Imperial Agents should really be retooled into either a new version of the old Witch Hunters book or basically Codex: Allies For Other Imperial Armies instead of something supposed to stand on its own.
>>
>>747631691
Eldar is the best faction though so why complain? Shame about the lack of Dark Eldar though.
>>
What's really going to kill 40k TW is the campaign mechanics, which are effectively
>your fleet goes to a random irrelevant system
>you fight a bunch of battles on a bunch of planets
>you then go to a new system to just do it again
Sisyphus campaign. They can dress it up as "there is only war" all they like, but the reality is there's no point to it and no actual winning the campaign. This is their "solution" to people always restarting the campaign in previous games, just make that the main gameplay loop.
>>
>>747634382
>basically Codex: Allies For Other Imperial Armies instead of something supposed to stand on its own.
Yeah this one sounds better, on their own they're basically Imperial leftovers, just integrate them with other imperial armies.
>>
>>747634362
40k's "lore numbers" are mostly retarded and make no sense anyway, I wouldn't worry about it. Always remember that to GW lore is a tertiary thing behind models and rules. They outsource the details to bad authors.
>>
>>747633956
Definitely not as much as 40K though I'm certain 40K is going to be jank as fuck due to how different it's going to be from Total War's formula. They couldn't even get pike formations and two-handed units to work properly in Medieval 2 after making Rome.

>>747633878
>>747633927
>>747633954
I think we're past a lot of the grief that would've made it a non-starter before. AoS has enough spark in it now to make some compelling factions and mechanics as well as letting CA refine most of the Warhammer mechanics in a new engine with a different scale and gameplay style to help them transition to 40K. It'd also not have to be a huge product since, design-wise AOS factions are very differentiated and polished down to a specific concept that would play very well in a strategy game.

Barring Stormcast which are a total goat fuck and need to have half their range squatted. or whole range.
>>
>>747634413
It sounds decent in theory and their reasoning behind it... But i really need to see how it plays out across hundreds of hours

IE is still pretty fun as an sandbox experience over hundred of hours on the same faction, hard to see the theatre style campaign being fun and fresh for that long

Easy way to sell us 40k narrative campaigns though
>>
>>747634413
That unironically sounds way better than map painting. Let me level up my dudes over a series of adventures where I start in a corner and fight my way out.
>>
>>747634362
Guardsmen actually operate in squads, platoons, companies, etc just like modern militaries. It's just they're usually deployed in human wave tactics, so you see those 200 guardsmen as two companies worth.
>>
40k won't work with TW. You'd be better off with smth like MoWaS.
>>
>>747634216
Because you present it in a way that suggest that none of them being good means they are similar. There are lvls of being a dickhead and some, like chaos or DE, are clearly several leagues worse than the Imperium.

The no troop transports is baffling as fuck if it's true and its hard to believe when so many maps are huge as fuck and the main emphasis on gameplay is taking terrain cover from the enemy before they get to use it against you.

No aircraft makes sense. Since 8th edition GW has been neutering aircraft from the game and making them dogshit. Eventually they'll all be legend'ed.
>>
>>747634669
It does matter, because each of thosee squads, platoons, companies, etc have individual objectives that come into play when they break through the trench warfare and can operate properly.

Hardly, it's a flagship entity now and accounts for about 30% of GW's profits which is far more than Fantasy was doing when it was (poorly) managed by GW. It's not 40K but 40K is literally the DnD of tabletop gaming and everything lives in 40K's shadow.

AHAHAHAHA!
>>
>>747635067
Genestealer cults are part of the OG crew of 40k factions. The OG factions are the Imperium, Orks, Eldar, Tyranids and Genestealers (who were their own thing at that time). Squats were also a thing back then but part of the imperium sort of.
>>
>>747635007
From interviews it sounds like one of the main reasons they decided to include Eldar as a launch faction is because their campaign gameplay is completely different to everyone else's. IIRC they basically ignore map painting and they're all about completing missions in the vein of tipping things here and there to make sure the future plays out a certain way. Would be neat if some of their objectives involve making sure that certain factions hold certain territory, would be neat to have campaign where you play puppet master with the AI instead of just smashing everything.
>>
>>747635193
I hope they manage to do that justice. I would fucking love to just be the scheming fucker behind the scenes, intervening and meddling in the affairs of other factions/players to suit my own goals. Map painting also in general does not fit any eldar faction at all.

I do wish that the craftworlds themselves are somehow represented in the game as well, as sort of drifting, massive warships you can slowly direct across the galaxy, that are essentially stealthed/hidden from other players/AI unless they get too close to them.
>>
>>747631691

Personally, I think we're not going to get through the tabletop. 40K just has that curse where all vidya depictions just don't succeed at bringing in the full armory and playstyle for each faction.

Even with Eldar coming in, I guarantee Craftworlds as they're described won't be a thing since that's far out of CA's scope to represent on the campaign.

>AoS is as big as it'll ever be and the only thing keeping it alive at present is GW cucking the fantasy revival out of fear that everyone will abandon smegmar outside of the hard-core trannies.
Fantasy suffers from having horrendously old models. The real problem overall is that Fantasy and AoS are weirdly separate. With entire armies that should be compatible being designed in a way to make them incompatible or the Old World equivalent being placed in rules limbo.

As actual games fantasy and Aos appeal to very different people. That's not a insult to either.

It's nice that the map is "the planet you're on", and it's represented as an actual spherical object you can rotate and seamlessly zoom out to a representation of the system you're in.
It's also very nice that they're not pushing melee and focusing on gunfights, with a "just overwhelm the player visual with fired bullets" philosophy. I think it works very well.
Spess Mahrines being represented as a few elites is also cool.

There's literally no fear. GW revived fantasy with Old World and added Cathy. They literally just finished making NEW models for Chaos Warriors in the Warhammer Fantasy artstyle. There's even a massive dragon setpiece they just put out and brought out Battlemarch which is like the safest way to get newbies into the system. We're getting more support for Fantasy than we did in End Times and its selling well enough that GW clearly wants to expand it with a wave 2 for Cathy and bringing back some of the missing core armies. Fuck, I literally just played Old World last weekend with my shelved Chaos Warrior army and there was a FEC/Skaven AOS game going on to the table on my right.

AoS is missing game representation out of shitty mobiles and one crappy rts. Give it support with quality secondary material in different mediums and it'll grow like any other game. It also went from a botched launch to a well-loved game in 2nd and 3rd edition and still has the best looking models in the GW range while being the second most played tabletop wargaming anywhere I've been.
>>
>>747636363
I'd admit that the planet map is nice but nothing extremely novel. We had whole RTS being played on one already. I think multiple at that: Planetary Annihilation and Terra Invicta.

All the battles so far showed us heavy melee focus with Orks and the whole concept must allow Orks to reach melee to work so I would assume it is more this than anything else. I find the lackluster placed and formation-oriented "cover" places really cheap and lazy.
They should have brought back deployable cover and buildings from Napoleon again.
From my point of view CA official and unofficial stance on ranged focus scenarios like WW1/2 were always that their engine does not work with these squad-based and dynamic ranged settings and what I saw in the representation is that they still lack the tech but did not give a shit and pump out an IP-based Rome 2 mod to rake in the cash, no matter how shitty the product looks against the fantasy and setting. That we got the planet stuff alone is a miracle but maybe something "easy" to do, at least more easy than writing new battle AI and mechanics and break up the old and small scale of Rome 1 systems.
And as we see they are right, there are people retarded enough to seemingly pay and reward them for doing so.

It's bizarre as fuck to me because, back before TW, Fantasy was literally this dead IP that had been hideously managed by GW since you were buying models ten a box to make 40 man units out of a massive army that was composed of resin, metal, and shit that ugly as fuck compared to 40K sculpts at the time. Fucking nobody outside of the niche knew what Fantasy was outside of "40K but it's in Fantasy". Even like the games were mid as fuck with a mid-tier mmo that literally scammed people and was killed by EA before it could fix itself and an rts that was missing Steam Tanks for the Empire and half the shit that makes the factions cool while 40K had fucking Dawn of War.

I disagree. Firstly, a videogame should fulfill the fantasy of the setting: massive, gigantic battles in the future. Not the tabletop rules and not the age-old small TW ruleset either.
And even for TW scale, I find the amount and size of units disappointing and not even ramping up the models will fix this as it just becomes unwieldy, as their systems are still stuck in 2004 and nobody is admitting this is a bad fit for the setting. It’s just looked over by the devs and the fans alike, which is a massive disappointment.

But the maps ARE 3D. What’s the point then?

You can't have large scale battles with good performance with the level of detail they're going for when it comes to units. To have massive battles you'd have to have a much more simplistic 3D style or even go back to using 2D sprites, otherwise, it will simply not run on most setups, and particularly consoles.

Honestly even without hero hammer $90 gives you more Greatswords then you'll probably ever field. Same with Knights and State Troops giving you an absurd amount of models while GW charges you $90 for the new Ork transport that some people run multiples of in their list.
>>
>>747633659
>Age of Sigmar
hell no. whole thing needs to canned
>>
>>747638285
This is a layered issue.
Firstly we have face value, the battles and unit sizes are designed around the old Rome 1 system units of multiple duking it out in range and melee combat. The unit itself is the blob, the models are mostly visual hitboxes.
This way you can control and depict seemingly large armies with ease.
Then we have the technical sides. Building on a decade-old engine, making some updates to shaders and physics and calling it "new" is the first trick, then you realize you bottleneck any innovation with this, but fuck it, it's cheaper to just roll out another Rome 2 mod than making any true leaps in terms of battle and animations and battle AI. Then we have the targets. Fucking decade-old hardware in low-income/IQ houses needs to buy and run this to get the most out of the investments, thus we cannot make any leaps, we need to trudge and take two steps back to not hurt our shareholder values.
These are just some of the reasons why this looks so shitty and small and boring.
Pick one, I think one is enough to get fed up with this shitshow of a company, if you are over 90IQ.

>Firstly, a videogame should fulfill the fantasy of the setting: massive, gigantic battles in the future.
It's Total War. Battles have always required you to assume shit is bigger than it actually is to be realistic. As long as it feels big enough, it's fine.

> as their systems are still stuck in 2004 and nobody is admitting this is a bad fit for the setting.
It's a questionable fit for the setting but I don't think the idea is inherently bad. Been recently playing Master and Command and It shows that pseudo Napoleonic warfare can actually be really fun. While Warhammer 40K is more world war 2 in nature (I'm pretty sure third edition was literally based on a world war 2 ruleset). The lack of focus on large scale tank battles means it generally just feels like a fairly Napoleonic experience in practice(just MUCH more agile and with way better weapons).

The biggest issue with Total War overall (Besides bad AI, anyhow) is that battles are very one note. A "Battle" between armies should consist of multiple small key moments in a larger conflict that are generally more objective focused. Possibly with the large everybody vs everybody conflict being the final battle. That's not going to happen any time soon, if at all, but at least removing the bad way maneuvering armies are handled now (Free movement 3d map) is a very positive step in the right direction. I honestly hope the battles are large in size and generally involve more objective control. If that doesn't happen, it might at least be possible to mod.

>But the maps ARE 3D. What’s the point then?
No maneuvering armies. Risk style map good.

Eldar are a scalpel rather than a sword. They rely on key strikes to change the fate of a war as a whole. Like, they can literally see the future. Necrons and Nids are smaller, with less defined subfactions to sell as dlcs
"Aeldari" are named as such and not "Asuryani" because they are not just Craftworlds faction
They are a mega faction of less evil space elves so Craftworlds + Harelquins + Corsairs + Ynnari + soon Exodites, with Craftworlds alone being very versatile since you can lean into Wraiths, Jetbikes, Aspect Warriors or Warlocks and Farseers
There will be a lot of Eldar dlcs, that's why they are in a base game. DLC factions in general do not get as many additional dlcs

Kitbashing is fun. Look at this Thousand Sons Murderwing, this unit does not exist cause Sons don't use Raptors- sorcerers can fly on their own and Rubricks are too dumb to use. Tell them they need to lean into 'alien auxillaries' and come up with a couple new ones instead of releasing increasingly retarded mobile suits. Expanding kroot was kino, and new vespid killteam is a thing of beauty. They got me back into model painting, i just saw the Hivestorm box and thought that I NEED to have it.

You still have Dune series, which had 3 factions, made by the same studio.

CA bases everything on codexes first and then forge world, white dwarf and other excerpts, but it's not completely made up
I expect Ulthwe to have unique Black Guardians, since that's what CA does with shit like Drakenhof Templars

The big 3 are SM, Orcs and Eldar. Imperium is included because they have a massive fanbase of neckbeards who will buy the game solely based on their inclusion.

Nigger nobody cares about auxiliary shit. Not GW, not BL, not the TT players nor vidya players. It's all just muh mechas/battlesuits, that's it.

Cool models but I can't get the impression they're in a dance number with that line up.

>>747641031
Like Vampire Coast and Norsca was made up mostly and is fucking great and some units like the big monsters were just referenced in ancient lore but for the main faction every DLC added missing units from the tabletop or supplements, even stupid shit like Stormfiends or the Skycutter. It's one of the laudable accomplishments for Warhammer 3 despite the jewish DLC almost every unit from the tabletop was brought into the game.

It's basically a Starship Troopers thing. Only the Battlesuits are the Troopers and the Imperials are the bugs (just no hivemind). Tau operate in smaller units not to get tangled in red tape (but they sometimes get caught up in their own warfare doctrine), Imperium throws more people at the problem and hopes it unfucks itself.

They are mid-landing\takeoff, i didn't change the original Murderwing legs. Very dynamic poses, I like it. There will be magic smoke and shit added to some of them too, i just didn't glue it on yet.
Tried doing temperature sketch underpainting for skin on this Trench Crusade dude. Might have picked better colors for actual skin but the effect is noticeable.
>>
>>747641000
They sell bad because Tau gets poor rep in the media and has a very poor rep on the table with how non-interactive their army is and how you only really play three phases of the game instead of four.

>>747641164
It'd help but GW keeps fucking up these soup armies by trying to make you 'theme' around Kroot or Vespids or Battlesuits instead of treating it as a combined arms force where you're encouraged to have the Not-Covenant.

Can you imagine how embarrassing it would be if they weren't? There's not that many factions in 40k until you start getting into sub-factions; if the T'au were marketed and talked about as much as they are and still failed to make it into the top 10 that'd be ridiculous.
In other words, this is not a grand achievement.

That is because they are angry and want revenge. They wish to do bad things, usually indiscriminately. They don't just target the people or group that wronged them, chaos pretty much convinces them that all mortals are now prey for them to enact whatever sadistic fantasies they have upon them.
Cruelty is an unintentional byproduct of the Imperium's flawed and broken system.
Cruelty is the main purpose of chaos' "system".
>>
>>747642821
That's grim that is.
>>
>>747642356
They're consistently played more than "core" factions like the Eldar and orks.

Space marines, nids, guard, and necrons are the only factions that consistently beat them out in terms of popularity on amd off the tabletop.
>>
>>747631691
Massive DLC potential.
Especially with Chaos.
>>
>>747631691
It's themed around Armageddon you retard. It's the current big campaign.
>>
>>747638039
That's what you want but it's nothing that GW itself would allow because they want every IP to suck off Elite armies, namely the SM/CSM specifically but also Eldar to a point. If we had "lore scale" conflict you want playable, Space Marines would be busy being atomized by the sheer amount of firepower the average IG/Ork/Nids and even fucking Tau army sends downwind.
>>
>>747638903
Thin thing that pisses me off here is that bolters look like dinky sparks firing into Orks while their bullets are some unholy red fireballs. Bolters are supposed to shoot micro missiles at people and Orks fill their gun with half and half bullets, screws and metal shavings, why the fuck are projectile SFX not swapped?

>>
>>747644450
Dawn of War had a single campaign and 3 races playable in skirmish and cost $60. No one cried about and it was considered a masterpiece.
>>
>>747644567
Dawn of War was an RTS game that introduced new mechanics that didnt exist in other RTS games. Total War is a completely seperate line of games with a completely separate style of play. Nevermind the fact that Dawn of War was released in 2004 and since then, Warhammer released THREE TOTAL WAR GAMES re-branding itself each time LOL
>>
>>747641000
If true, tell your bosses if the writers stop sucking off SM so they get 10 books for every one Xeno (inevitably Eldar) maybe people would be more interested in them. Also Tau are supposed to be a Federation so give them more auxiliaries. Like maybe them rules for Votann troops to screen for the ranged units that don't drop dead to a stiff wind like the Carnivores.
>>
>>747644676
In the span of these three games they rewrote the renderer two times. They said there will be 3 games before even the first came out so it's on you that you didn't wait.
>>
>>747641648
That's the because the average "Warhammer 40k fan" is a lobotomite who gets their all their lore from Tik Tok, Bricky if they are feeling ambitious, thinks he's based and redpilled and will never play the game in spite of larping as an SM player.
>>
>>747644842
You will never damage control your way out of the fact that Warhammer was released 3 times as a Total War game, and now they are setting up for the exact same cash grab model for 40k. 40k as a Total War game is also complete nonsense and the gameplay they've already released looks objectively terrible.
>>
>>747644727
Their focus currently is on the Necrons they are really pleased with how popular theyve become recently and want to push more Necron shit out
>>
>>747644676
Nothing in DoW was new or unique to the RTS genre

>>
>>747644930
>and now they are setting up for the exact same cash grab model for 40k
Nope they publicly admitted that making 3 games complicated the development too much and they are releasing only one 40k game but with support for at least 10 years. You literally have no idea what you are talking about. Go back to Med2 or whatever shit you crawled from.
>>
>>747644934
Necrons are only popular because cthans are busted and there's lots of power gamers that want the easy wins
>>
>>747641981
If we consider the books anything but sucking off Space Marines, the Farsight Enclaves killed an entire Splinter Fleet with a virus weapon, it's not that hard to do when your army is not a bunch of indoctrinated manchildren who only know how to kill, retard-kun.
>>
>>747645051
Damage controlling doesn't interest me. Warhammer trash got grifted, scammed, and paypigged for 3 game reskins and are already getting paypigged for what looks to be one of the worst games under a TW label ever released. What kind of retard would think a system based on pitched battles would work for futurustic science fiction war?

Needs to separate infantry, support, tanks, other vehicles, flyers in tabs
To prevent doomstacking superheavies make them cost like 10 units worth' in a tab, since there are 40 people can only bring 4
All need to be 40 unit tabs with 40 extra support ready to be called down
Also double or quadruple current unit sizes for infantry and light vehicles like Sentinels
No transports are retarded, Rhinos and Chimeras are an integral part of any army
>>
>>747645535
DoW4 doesn't have Eldar
>>
>>747645282
This just makes the Ultramarines performance Vs the Kids even more embarrassing not gonna lie. And as small as the Tau empire is, Imperium still can't get their shit together to deal with them. SM are quite literally the 3rd biggest losers in the setting, significantly after Custodians (actual joke by the writers) and right after Dark Eldar, carried by their extremely good aesthetics.
>>
>>747645618
Yeah that too, seeing how Total Warhammer has been doing they are gonna release every faction and then Lost&Damned alongside some third wildcard at some point
CA will milk the SHIT out of it

>>747645679
Total War isn't designed to be played like that, just play Wargame or any other contemporary era setting RTS if you want modern warfare. Total War is designed for pitched, decisive battles which is why the gameplay for 40k looks so fucking abysmal.
>>
>>747646228
>Total War isn't designed
You are a special kind of retard. TW4k dosen't run on the old TW engines. It's custom made to simulate all the types of armor and bullet deflection of a modern combat game. This is the shitty 1-100 armor range of the old historic trash.
