What's the /v/erdict?
Good, but only worth playing once. Pirate it, don't buy it.
Generic slop, but that's what you expect from poles who were involved with The Bitcher.
>>747634476>but only worth playing onceBut wasn't a big gimick the the time system?
>>747634919You can complete all game content without running out of time.
>>747634385Even more boring than witcher 3 with the characteristic millennial-esque cringe dialogs
>>747635079>dialogs
>>747635139You're right, those phrases thrown around back and forth with two seconds delay are hard to call a dialog, but witcher 3 fans will appreciate that reference.
>>747635287He's complaining about your spelling. It's "dialogue", "dialog" is only used in the software engineering context to mean those text boxes that pop up. I was surprised to find this too, as an ESL who only ever uses AE spelling
>>747635385Nah, that's some pedantic bs, they are both "correct" spellings, one is 'merican and one is bri'sh
>>747634385kino cinema, will be eagerly awaiting the next entry
>>747634385It's great and I want a sequel now.
>>747634385GOTY 2026
A pretty generic W3 clone, but with specks of good and dogshit speckled throughout. Complete with NPCs complaining about the treatment of jews, muslims and women in medieval society.
>>747634385Open world slop that tricks you into thinking it will be kino with its prologue
>>747639081>being surprised that Witcher 3.5 is open worldlol
>>747639081It is kino.
>>747638390>Complete with NPCs complaining about the treatment of jews, muslims and women in medieval society.there's no way
>>747634385Extremely uninspiring goyslop. The poles can do better than this.
It's a witcher clone except you're a vampire. And except the only vampiric thing you do is drinking blood from rats and deers and turning into a wolf to move slightly faster because vampiric move is broken and vampiric fighting techniques mean you hit like a wet noodle. I wouldn't even watch a youtube playthrough, just play the witcher 3 which is (surprisingly) a far better experience while still being shit
>>747634385I pirated the game and had ZERO buyers remorse and ZERO FOMO. Saying that, I dropped it and won't be continuing the game.First of all, you will only enjoy this if you enjoyed every part of Witcher 3, it is essentially exactly the same gameplay wise. But with worse characters and story.Just like Witcher 3 though, it's admitedly good story is ruined by the dog shit Open World filled with generic repeated camp clearing quests which are mandatory if you want to play "normally" and get the quest to take out the vamp bosses indivisually. The time helps with the pacing and makes you skip the worst of the side quest trash, but most of the side quests you have to do are just incredibly unengaging.Dawnwalker still has absolutely garbage Combat and Itemization/RPG mechanics, just like Witcher 3.Play it for the story, except the shitty open world will get in the way.Only play it for anything else if you are a major Witcher 3 shill and defender. If you didn't care for Witcher 3, then just skip this game. You'll end up dropping it if you pirate it.
>>747639621but ign gave it a 9
>>747639621>Only play it for anything else if you are a major Witcher 3 shill and defender. Not even that, I'm a big W3 fan and playing this only made me want to drop this one and replay the witcher again. If they're not able to come up with a better game 10 years later I'm sorry but the studio needs to close down
>nobody mentioning how the entire game is copypasted with nothing visually discerning
>>747639621>Dawnwalker still has absolutely garbage Combatskill issue
>>747640147That's because that's the case for all open worlds. Nugamers simply don't know it's possible to have a handcrafted world
>>747638390Yep, it's a polakike product alright.
The time mechanic is pointless, it really only stops you from doing dumb shit like clear every bandit camp. Would've been better if the whole game was setup like prologue. Smaller areas with short time limits so you actually have to choose what quests you want to do the most.
>>747640935>the game would be better if I was forced to see less of its contentWhat a stellar endorsement
>>7476343857/10 GOTY
It's too gritty and gruesome. Witcher 3 wins out because it juxtaposed the dark fantasy with folklore fantasy.
