There have been ads in video games before. There have been video games that were nothing but ads. Ikea shit in Skyrim is dumb, but this isn’t a new problem and an optional mod is pretty much the best possible version of it.

Meaning that unlike Morrowind or Oblivion, Skyrim is shit for decorations and decorating your home, and you have to resort to Creation Kit and setting up collision markers for open containers (like with bookshelves and displays). Meaning that that ad/mod is pure bullshit. Bethesda could'have made a mod that introduces placable furniture and Nord stylised ones, but they are so shit and defuct that they would rather just outsource that shit to Trainwiz or whoever they have on the "creator payroll" and Elianora (her house mods are atrocious).
