BG3 is a tactical turn based game disguised as an "RPG". It's basically just XCOM but in a fantasy setting.

Every single "RPG" aspect of the game is literal fluff that has no RP element to it besides some flavor text here and there.

With Skyrim you can at least RP the fuck out of it with the correct mods.
