A lot of our enjoyment of games really comes down to our experience AROUND the games rather than just what they provide in and of themselves.For example, a lot of people say RE5 is straight ass. I agree, however, I fucking loved it because I finished it on Co-Op with a friend in high school. Same thing with Army of Two on the PS3, veritable kusoge, but I also finished it with a friend on Co-Op and had a lotta fun.With single player games, they're not necessarily more fun, but a better experience when you have someone verh close to talk about them with. My brother and I both played Cyberpunk 2077, and whenever we got together we'd talk about it hours on end, and that honestly enhanced said experience for me, same with many SP games since him and I have similar tastes. And so on and so forth.Marvel's Wolverine is a shit game beyond a shadow of doubt, but I bet someone out there is having fun *at its expense) when they have somebody to laugh at it with.I also think why a lot of anons find gaming to be a generally miserable experience is because they have no one to talk about their games with. They just finish it and that's it, they move on to the next thing, they have no one to listen to their thoughts about it, and that kind of repeated pattern really dulls gaming in general, much like how if you had a hobby but no one to share your passion for it with.
