After hearing that this game shipped with 4 discs on Xbox 360. Yeah, it made sense why MGS4 remained PS3 exclusive until recently.

MGS4 has ps3 specific dialogues. And besides, I am certain the xbox one and ps4 could both play blu ray movies

If Lost Odyssey was on PS3, it would've had 5 discs. The PS3 was horrible unoptimized for most games.

Disc amount has nothing to do with optimization, its just the amount of content the game has in terms of models, textures, levels fmvs, voice files etc

PS3 dual layer disc can hold file size up to 50GB.
It probably can fit into one disc since Lost Odyssey file size is around 16 GB to 22 GB.
