I think Capcom are the only big company aside from maybe Nintendo who is happy enough to make games more "arcadey". They are open to stupid stuff in their serious games, and focus more on making games short but replayable rather than long chores that demand all of your time.

Rise and Sunbreak were their last arcadey feeling games but their more notable output is very clearly meant to ape western AAA trends (that everyone is already tired of by the way, always leave it to capcom leadership to be 10 years behind the ball). at the very least DD2 seems to be on a path of redemption with DA but i dont think there's any fixing wilds.
