Its only very recently where adults are not just buying games for their kids, but for themselves as well. The only platform with more adults than children was computer games due to the barrier to entry of cost and technical ability. And even then they were either playing warhames/autistic sims and porn games. Most crpgs and point and click adventures were still marketed to kids.
